In the earliest days when the Hutts expanded their criminal empires they had targetted the Twi`lek people in order to lay claim to the riches that Ryloth had to offer, more specifically Ryll. For every aggressor and wannabe conqueror the people of Ryloth vanquished another popped up its ugly head to take its place. One of these so-called conquerors were a band of Chevin named The Unsavory Horde. The war that insued between the Horde and the Ziveri clan was one that lasted for years with neither side winning any ground except losing tremendous amounts of life on both sides. As the conflict reached new heights the five clanheads of the Ziveri clan met with the leader of the Unsavory Horde. A deal was struck. The Chevin would cease their hostilities and even defend the clan, if and only if, the Twi`leks
