The Shadow Horde is a powerful organized armed group that originated from the Nikto Morgukai clans. The organization has since expanded to include members of other species who share their values and combat skills.

The Shadow Horde is led by Warchief Bork Shalas, a force-sensitive Morgukai warrior who possesses the gift of Force visions. Bork has had visions of a great war that threatens the galaxy and the survival of all species. This prophecy has become the sole purpose of the Shadow Horde, and they follow their leader blindly in their quest to prevent the impending conflict.

The Shadow Horde possesses a large ground army and a powerful space fleet, making them a formidable force in battle. They are known for their use of advanced technology and their ruthless tactics, which have earned them a reputation as one of the most feared armed groups in the galaxy.

The Shadow Horde has been involved in a number of conflicts throughout the galaxy, including the War for Gazaan and the Raid on the Kowak System. They have also been known to ally themselves with the Zann Consortium.

Structure

The organized armed division of the horde consists of eight hundred warriors hailing from diverse races and cultures. These mercenaries primarily serve as reinforcements, bolstering the horde's strength on the battlefield.

The Shadow Horde's Space Force boasts an impressive fleet, including several capital ships such as the renowned SHH Red Insurgent, which also serves as the flagship of the Warchief. The fleet further comprises hundreds of fighters, gunships, as well as a sizeable number of Battle droids, T-Series Tactical Droids, and BNDO Assassin Droids.

To enhance their deployment capabilities, the horde possesses various transport vessels, including the GR-75 Medium Transport, JX40 Jailspeeders, Sandcrawlers, and Seltiss-2 Caravels. Notably, the Luxury Sail Barge named "Stalker" functions as the personal barge of the Warchief, providing support and troop mobility to the horde.

The Dotkhauue Tiam Clan

The Dotkhauue Tiam Clan

The Dotkhauue Tiam Clan is a Kajain'sa'Nikto clan that holds a prominent position within the Shadow Horde, under the leadership of Warchief Bork Shalas. They adhere to the traditions and combat techniques of the Morgukai, and are renowned for their expertise in manipulating Cortosis ore and Crystalline vertex to craft their weaponry, most notably the Morgukai Cortosis Staff.

Originating from Kintan, the clan is comprised of refugees who were smuggled past the blockade imposed by the Eidola Pirates, thanks to the efforts of Bork Shalas and assistance from other smugglers and Morgukai allies.

The Kajain'sa'Nikto of the Dotkhauue Tiam Clan possess a remarkable ability to adapt swiftly to their surroundings, making them cunning and skilled combatants, particularly in the realm of melee combat.

The clan reveres M’dweeshu as their deity and frequently takes prisoners from the various battlefields in which they engage, employing them as sacrifices offered to their god as part of their religious practices.

With their extensive arsenal and deployment resources, the Dotkhauue Tiam Clan and the Shadow Horde rival larger groups in terms of their capabilities and effectiveness on the battlefield.

Tasked with ensuring the security and protection of their commander, they are highly skilled in the art of melee combat, particularly wielding Cortosis staffs with great proficiency. To defend against laser weapons, they employ shields as a vital part of their defensive strategy.

The armor worn by the Shadow Guard is of ceremonial nature, crafted in a distinctive style that was meticulously designed by Bork Shalas himself. This unique armor not only serves as a symbol of their allegiance but also provides functional enhancements to their combat capabilities. As the elite guardians of the Warchief, the Shadow Guard stands as a formidable and dedicated force within the ranks of the Shadow Horde.

Equipment

The Shadow Horde boasts a diverse and formidable arsenal for both ground and space operations. On the ground, their forces consist of ten Nikto battalions and twenty mercenary battalions equipped with a range of short, medium, and long-range weaponry. Transporting troops are JX40 Jailspeeders and Kettrifee Air Movers, while strike support is provided by WLO 5 Speeder Tanks and Hoverscouts.

In space, the Shadow Horde's fleet stands as a powerful presence in the galaxy, comprised of a variety of specialized ships and fighters optimized for combat effectiveness.

At the core of their fleet are the Dreadnaught-class Heavy Cruisers and Kaloth-class Battlecruisers, serving as the primary capital ships. The conquest of Asteroid 24-U-149 Pi

The conquest of Asteroid 24-U-149 Pi was a military operation carried out by the Shadow Horde. The asteroid was previously controlled by bandits who had fortified their position with strong defenses, making it a formidable obstacle for any invading force.

The Shadow Horde first engaged the bandits in space combat, which proved to be a challenging task. The bandits put up a fierce resistance, but the Shadow Horde's superior technology and tactics eventually broke through their defenses.

Following their success in space, the Shadow Horde launched a ground invasion of the asteroid. Despite the bandit ground forces' valiant efforts, they were ultimately defeated by the Shadow Horde's superior training and weaponry.

After securing the asteroid, the Shadow Horde began the process of terraforming it, transforming it into a suitable outpost for their needs. The asteroid, located in an asteroid field near the core, became an important strategic location for the Shadow Horde, providing them with a valuable base of operations for their operations in the region.

This newly colonized asteroid field was christened as The Shadow Nexus.

Year 24 Fleet Updates

The Shadow Horde, under the leadership of Warchief Bork Shalas, has recently undergone significant fleet updates to enhance their combat capabilities and expand their influence in the galaxy. The fleet updates include the addition of three Corona-class Frigates: the Shadowstrike, the Shadow's Vengeance, and the Shadow Menace.

These Corona-class Frigates have been extensively customized to serve as carriers for the Horde's fighter and corvette fleets. Each frigate is equipped with hangar bays capable of housing several hundred Toscan 8-Q Starfighters and R-41 Starchasers for superiority, as well as N-1 Starfighter Bombers for effective assaults. To provide corvette support, a Consular-class Cruiser corvette escort accompanies the frigates, serving as a versatile multirole vessel.

In order to strengthen their boarding capabilities, the frigates also carry a garrison of highly trained troopers, ready to deploy for boarding parties. These troopers are mobilized using various types of dropships, enabling swift and strategic maneuvers during boarding operations.

To bolster their defensive capabilities, the fleet has acquired several Kaloth-class Battlecruisers, which will serve as carrier escorts. These Kaloth-class Battlecruisers carry a substantial number of Vulture-class Droid Starfighters, providing valuable fighter support during engagements.

Furthermore, the Shadow Horde has deployed a number of Dreadnaught-class Heavy Cruisers to their Shadow Nexus system. These imposing capital ships, including the Annihilator, the Executioner, the Ravager, the Striker, and the Adversary, are armed with Star Saber XC-01 Starfighter MkI and Star Saber XC-01 Starfighter MkII. These specialized starfighters serve as essential patrol vessels for system defense, ensuring the protection of the Shadow Nexus and its surrounding territories.

With these fleet updates, the Shadow Horde has significantly enhanced its naval strength, enabling them to exert their influence across the galaxy and defend their interests in the ongoing conflicts within the Outer Rim and beyond.

In the Y24 update, the Shadow Horde proudly announces the acquisition of two EF76 Nebulon-B Escort Frigates, known as the Crimson Queen and The Fortune Plague. These powerful vessels have been integrated into the fleet and serve critical roles in system defense and close-range escort operations. The [SHH] Crimson Queen and [SHH] The Fortune Plague showcase the Shadow Horde's commitment to bolstering its defensive capabilities and ensuring the safety of its larger carriers.
