| − | Around the age of 10 the village Asaaj and his father resided in was raided by militiamen from another world seeking new recruits. Asaaj and his father were pulled from their home in the middle of the night and brought to the center of town, where the others in the village were being inspected. The inspectors moved one by one examining the villagers, those they deemed unfit were executed and left limp in the dirt. Asaaj and his father both passed and were herded onto the ship the men had brought with them, a dirty and worn AA-9. Once inside the villagers were put into a hold already packed with others from around Tatooine. The AA-9 then set off for an unknown planet somewhere in the outer rim.

| − | It is believed Asaaj and his father arrived on a heavily forested planet somewhere in the south-east of the galaxy. It is here that he and his father were re-examined by the leader of the guerrilas. They were assigned to a company under the leadership of one of the senior members of the militia. In the next few years the recruits were trained physically and mentally. They were told that they had to cast off the shackles of big government. The militia was nothing but an anarchist group. The young Asaaj, having never left Tatooine, was extremely susceptible. He appeared to view the leaders of the milita as more of a father figure than his own.

| − | One day while on patrol Asaaj stumbled upon a crash landed Aggressor Assault Fighter. It had been banged up pretty bad but most of the parts were still there. Asaaj brought the groups mechanic to the wreck and convinced him to repair it, in secret.

| − | Asaaj was a standout from the other forced soldiers, he didn't hold back, he had apparently embraced the life. Now 14 he was to participate in his first raid. His unit was tasked with razing a camp of dissidents. He took to this assignment with gusto, gallantly following his commanding officer into the primitive camp, blaster blazing. Within minutes the camp was devoid of life. Asaaj had claimed his first victim.

| − | From what holocron investigators have uncovered Asaaj continued to impress, rising in ranks quickly. He paid little attention to his father, who spent his time cleaning the groups outdated weapons. His frequently clashed with his father over their new life, his father said that he was becoming crazy, that he had forgotten where he had come from. Asaaj then revealed to his father that this was a ruse, and that he was planning to escape in an aggressor assault fighter he had found crash landed in the jungle nearby. He had been collecting parts to repair the ships hyperdrive during raids.

He used this authority to acquire more parts for the Aggressor. It was finally worthy of hyperspace travel. The date was set to make their getaway when things went south.

| − | Just days before Asaaj and his father were to make their getaway Asaaj, along with the mechanic that had been helping him with reconstruction were summoned before the head of the militia. It is unknown what was said during the meeting, but it resulted in the shooting death of the leader. Asaaj grabbed his father and they, along with the mechanic, dodged blaster fire all the way to the ship. As they dusted off a rocket detonated, damaging the ships hull, throwing Asaaj's father from the ship, and igniting part of the interior. Asaaj was engulfed in flames and would have died if not for the mechanic who stabilized him until they could reach more advanced medical facilities.

| − | Upon arriving at a nearby medical station he was placed into a bacta tank, but he was damaged severely. His skin had been nearly peeled off and his right eye was damaged beyond repair. Grieving at the loss of his father, he contemplated taking his own life. However, his desire for revenge and for his fathers memory to live on gave him the will to live on.

He vowed to bring anyone that challenged him down. His pride, and his friendship with Wezzy were his only guide.
