Cael Arcturus Graigan, a Corellian born on Day 30 Year -28, is a freelancer and expatriated Imperial soldier. Raised with a sense of morality that can only be theorized as a shade of gray, he seeks to keep himself and his own safe, by any means necessary.

===Early Years===

'''Cael Graigan''', the only son of Belenus and Anacea Graigan, was born on day 22 of year -32, in the waning years of the Galactic Republic.

Brought up in an overly-protective upper-class environment, Cael escaped childhood and adolescence with little issue. His parents were wealthy business owners, built on a foundation of code violations and (quite literally) skeletons in their closet, and Cael was the only heir. Knowing that their past may one day return to haunt them, they made sure their only heir was protected and taught self-defense, a skill that would serve his later career as a soldier.
+
His father, Belenus, was an officer in the Republic Navy at the time of the Clone Wars. The steady pay he sent home kept the family afloat. His mother, a painter by night and cantina waitress by day, brought in little but tips and sexual harassment from patrons. They managed to have a decent living, and Cael grew up without the usual cliches.

He then joined the company at age 15 as a member of the board of directors, something that the rest of the chairmen disapproved of. However, Cael's economic prowess began to show itself, and chose to step down from the board to lead another department.
+
His father finally retired at the end of the Clone Wars, and his mother became moderately successful as a painter, quitting her cantina job. They ultimately ended up opening two small businesses, one a gallery for Anacea's work, and the second, a small transportation service that would ferry customers around the Corellian sector. The stable income from each allowed Cael to attend a private school, where he received a classical education in numerous fields.

Possessing an almost-genius IQ, Cael excelled in his courses and graduated two years ahead of his peers, allowing him to work for the family's business interests. Cael then began flying freighters, back and forth, for these businesses. He learned most of the tricks of piloting from this experience.

At age 21, he had nearly taken over the business as a whole, with sales incrementally increasing every quarter. All was an apparent success, until his father unexpectedly died of a heart attack during a business summit on Coruscant. When this occurred, stocks fell astronomically, leaving the company utterly worthless as stockholders continued to bail and sell everything. After his father's funeral, the lawyer charged with being executor only gave Cael a single word, given in confidence by his father: Hammerfall.
+
In year 13, Cael would go on to open his own liquor company, the Corellian Alcoholic Enablers League (aka [[C.A.E.L.]]). The company went on to be very successful and would experience times of excess demand.  C.A.E.L. would close for the last time shortly before it's owners death.

Hammerfall ultimately was the password to his father's terminal, enabling a different user interface from the one Cael was used to seeing. Within it, a hologram of his father was projected, explaining that if he had been given the word, it was under the pretenses of unnatural causes of his death. His father's recording continued to tell the tale of how he founded the company on the backs of assorted criminal empires, and that they had an infiltrator on the board of directors, who would likely be the one responsible for his death.

Not speaking to his mother for her unwillingness to tell him the truth after these revelations, Cael discovered that one of the executives was a high-level member of a Corellian crime syndicate. — Cael Graigan

Cael Graigan, the only son of Belenus and Anacea Graigan, was born on day 22 of year -32, in the waning years of the Galactic Republic.

In year 13, Cael would go on to open his own liquor company, the Corellian Alcoholic Enablers League (aka C.A.E.L.). The company went on to be very successful and would experience times of excess demand. C.A.E.L. would close for the last time shortly before it's owners death.
