Cael Arcturus Graigan, a Corellian born on Day 30 Year -28, is a freelancer, businessman, artist, murderer, smuggler, pilot, mercenary, and expatriated [[Galactic Empire|Imperial]] soldier, though one may say "scoundrel" sums it up.

===Childhood and Whispers on a Breeze===

Mr. Cael Graigan, by no means an untroubled man, began his existence in the glamor of the Corellian elite. His parents were wealthy businessmen with a checkered past (as the tabloid holovids alleged), and held numerous supply contracts with legitimate and, as the words on the whispers often told, illegitimate enterprises. His childhood was normal for someone of his stature, and constant tutoring since an early age allowed his talents in economics to become apparent. With these skills slowly made even more heightened, he became a department head in the family business at sixteen and a board member at twenty. All was not perfect of course--such quick promotions smacked of nepotism amongst his family, though for a reason never claimed, they always kept him away from the books. As they claimed, book balancing was under him and such duties were relegated to the CFO. The CFO, a gentlemen of similar age and stature as his father, kept the books in line. Cael became suspicious of such a tertiary thing being kept from him, but never openly questioned it.

Cael is most certainly a grim man, and is not easily slighted by anyone, even people he puts trust in. He is derisive to anyone but those in his crew, faction, or those he's in professional relations with. In these cases, he is seen as calm, collected, and some would claim, even humble. But to those that set off his ire, he is condescending, inflammatory, and ruthless. Rumor has it, he beat a man to death with a pool cue for threatening a woman in a cantina. He also personally despises those with an egotistical or narcissistic outlook.

His [[Galactic Empire|Imperial]] psychological evaluation profiles him as ''"while most certainly chaotic in his methods, he is cold and calculated in his premeditation. He is straightforward, forthcoming, and honest; something unlike most that come through my door, but cold and dead silent. However, by my estimates and the evaluation tables put in place by the Academy, he is stable enough to serve and be effective"''.

— Cael Graigan

Cael Graigan, the only son of Belenus and Anacea Graigan, was born on day 22 of year -32, in the waning years of the Galactic Republic.

His father, Belenus, was an officer in the Republic Navy at the time of the Clone Wars. The steady pay he sent home kept the family afloat. His mother, a painter by night and cantina waitress by day, brought in little but tips and sexual harassment from patrons. They managed to have a decent living, and Cael grew up without the usual cliches.

His father finally retired at the end of the Clone Wars, and his mother became moderately successful as a painter, quitting her cantina job. They ultimately ended up opening two small businesses, one a gallery for Anacea's work, and the second, a small transportation service that would ferry customers around the Corellian sector. The stable income from each allowed Cael to attend a private school, where he received a classical education in numerous fields.

Possessing an almost-genius IQ, Cael excelled in his courses and graduated two years ahead of his peers, allowing him to work for the family's business interests. Cael then began flying freighters, back and forth, for these businesses. He learned most of the tricks of piloting from this experience.

In year 13, Cael would go on to open his own liquor company, the Corellian Alcoholic Enablers League (aka C.A.E.L.). The company went on to be very successful and would experience times of excess demand. C.A.E.L. would close for the last time shortly before it's owners death.
