Early Life:
Born on Csilla just before the Great civil wars (chiss). Flar was married at a very young age he, his wife and son moved to where he grow up, a little known colony. Flar Gar worked at the local shipyard until war broke out, his wife and son, both killed during the early stages of war. The war resulted in Chiss culture being devastated and Cislla being lost to outside influence.
Flar however never stopped believing in the Chiss. Flar is a strong supporter of bringing Chiss together.
Personality
Flar was tall, dark and blue. An epic juri juice drinker with a massive art collection. A passion for the Sciences, Women and Philosophy. Flar at first might seem overly defensive at times, but he does like a good chat! Often it as been claimed behind several large mugs of Juri Juice along with women at his sides.
His Big Break!
Refugee!
Down on his luck during a time of great pain Flar's luck was about to turn for the better! Getting some work while meeting some good people he started working in the Anzatan Commonwealth's shipyard faction. Flar made the grade to become Deputy Director of Production in very short. However due to poor governmental policies (according to Flar) in the higher end of the Commonwealth echelons, Flar felt it was time to move on.
Flar was then approached concerning work by, Locago the Hutt, who was described in Hutt weekly magazine, A Guide of the top 10 rich hot go-getters to be:
"The Great Galactic chain smoker and general party dude of the south".
.....Ever since that chance meeting Flar and Locago the Hutt was arranging more Twi'Lek parties then any funky ryll addict in the whole Galaxy.
It was during that time that Flar also meet his blood brother.

The Chiss Ascendancy
Anyone who wants to talk about Chiss Politics is faced with the issue of how the term “Chiss Ascendancy” is being used.
Flar Gar is a Pro- Neo Chiss and a follower of the Third Chiss Ascendancy (before the events of Yr 12 D 109). The Third Chiss Ascendancy is a term used not so much to designate a particular group, although groups might function with polices that fall under the domain of Third Chiss Ascendancy. But rather any follower of the Third Chiss Ascendancy is:
Someone that actively seeks to build a Chiss friendly community. With a view to encourage, and actively promote Chiss culture. It need not be a structured organisation, or business project, and often crosses many different organisations and political affiliations.
The Term however is also very period specific. Dating Just after the The Chiss Ascendancy dissolved in the form a medical practice and started to drop out of use when Chiss traditionalist and chiss Progressivism became defend.
Before yr12 D 109 a call for clarity was needed because many people most notably those of Imperial Intelligence, considered followers of the Chiss or the third Chiss Ascendancy implied followers of Flar Gar or Chiss Material Extractions. This was not the case:
“Chiss Material Extractions and (The Third) Chiss Ascendancy are distinctly two different entities. Even those many members of Chiss Material Extractions are also members of the other. This all important detail is what Imperial Intelligence director Inwe Ventidius constantly fails to appreciate in her analysis of Chiss Affairs, its many different followers have very different views. Leaving her to make premature and often incorrect conclusions about the Chiss” - Flar Gar
"In a sense. Chiss Material Extractions is the product of the third Chiss Ascendancy, It's child if you like. In another sense Chiss Material Extractions has grown into its own. Both consider each other brothers. While they do not always agree the point is Chiss Material Extractions listens very closely to the Chiss Ascendancy. One might say. Chiss Materials Extractions is the Ascendancy in practice." - Flar Gar
Here Flar Gar was describing the historical genesis of Chiss Material Extractions from
A: A remainder of what was left of Chiss Ascendancy as a medical Faction. and
B. From the ideology of a Non Faction group that is of the form of the Third Chiss Ascendancy.
Therefore Chiss Material Extractions can be thought to be a mixture of both.
While what is called the Chiss Ascendancy in exile would follow the form of conidtion B -ONLY-

Year 12 Day 109
Chiss Materials Extractions continued to grow and expand, a rift began to develop. Carn`ilo` Sabosen carried the standard of adherence to traditional chiss cultural values , while Flar Gar accepted a more multicultural view.
Philosophically, Carn'ilo' Sabosen a Traditionalist, while Flar Gar is "Progressive"(favoring some changes to chiss culture in favor of adaptation).
Their divergent philosophies resulted in several controversies, which eventually rippled into the chiss community. Both men eventually gained some support.
In Year 12, perceiving that Flar Gar had mocked his vision of a revived Chiss Ascendancy, and that Flar was not leading Chiss Material Extractions in a more Traditionalist philosophy, Carn'ilo' Sabosen took action. He hired a bounty hunter. Flar Gar however heard by indirect means and trapped Carn'ilo' Sabosen On day 108, Carn'ilo' Sabosen was arrested and prepared to stand trial.
On day 109, after a controversial trial, Carn'ilo' Sabosen was put to death. His death equally controversial due to the chiss prohibition execution as a form of punishment.
From Flar Gar's Progressive philosophical perspective (which he termed "Neo-Pro Chiss") allowed for rare exceptions to be made.In this case it was due to Carn'ilo' Sabosen holding ownership of a share of stock. Potentially this was a security risk that Flar felt Carn`ilo` Sabosen could use to harm CME,even if exiled.
Flar Gar felt that Carn’ilo’Sabosen would have been on some level a threat to not only Flar but also chiss culture. This is despite the fact that Carn’ilo’Sabosen had also contributed in no small way to the reconstruction of chiss culture. In Gar's opinion, the extraordinary case had to be meet with extraordinary measures.
Shortly after the execution, Chiss Material Extractions changed its name to 'The Chiss Ascendancy', frustrating the remaining traditionalists.
The traditionalists kept the name Sabosen had given their community:'Chiss Ascendancy-in-Exile' and insisted that the renaming of what is still calls "Chiss Material Extractions" is a usurpation, while Flar and the Progressives insisted that 'The Chiss Ascendancy'(formerly Chiss Material Extractions) is the practical expression of chiss community goals in the face of the events.
Chiss Ascendancy (Medical Faction)
Flar's involvement in the Chiss Ascendancy (Year 10) (Medical Faction) as been a subject of much speculation. Flar obtained the rank of Praetor the exact meaning of this rank is unknown. But for a short time Flar made second in command and then was also voted-become-acted and declared the Chiss Ascendancy leader. The rank Praetor did not always imply faction leader. However during this time Flar was given the prefix "lord" to become before Praetor. This leadership was not a dictatorship and was a temporary measure. During this time Flar was called away on an urgent matter outside the Chiss Ascendancy he decided rather than trying to help two groups he dearly loved, it would be wise for him to leave the Chiss Ascendancy has a chief executive and follow one pursuit at a time.
The Medical faction paved the way to Mining and Chiss Material Extractions was born.
