Taia Dahn is a female Human and the daughter of two formerly influential politicians from the planet Corellia. Taia's parents were well known supporters of Corellia's policy of "let them do as they will," a political ideal that stood for the right of the citizens to be free from intrusive government restrictions whenever possible. This ideal, as well as their careers, took a nosedive when the Galactic Empire came into power on their planet.
Taia disappeared from her home world soon after these events, and is now presumed to have been the one who operated in the galaxy under the guise of "Starwind," who is considered to be a revolutionary by some and a political terrorist by others. These claims have not been proven, but the political motivations match up and the impressive piloting ability of "Starwind" is reminiscent of the high end piloting techniques that are standard curriculum in all Corellian schools.
What is known is that Rar Lunko, a former pirate who was recruited by the Infinite Empire, was reported as using his connections to obtain contact with "Starwind". Soon after these reports, Taia Dahn joined the ranks of the Infinite Empire as a pilot and aspiring politician, only fuelling speculation.
