Tobias Frost is the only son of a minour Alderaanian royal family. He spent the majority of his life studying to become a diplomat like his mother, but the news of the demise of his grandfather, Marcus Nightcloud, caused him to leave the planet in order to seek out those responsible for his death. He travelled to the Seita system, and joined the Pentastar Alignment, taking over leadership in his grandfather's stead. However, upon hearing rumours of a possible collusion between Solarious Masha and the Galactic Empire, seized the assets of the faction, and went out on his own. After finding no tangible proof of the allegations, he returned the assets he had taken and joined the Krath Engineering Corps, where he remains to the present day.

Tobias is known as a master trader and diplomat, as well as a highly skilled slicer and computer operator. He is also known to be, despite his background as a pacifist, to be a master martial artist, though he prefers to use "soft' fighting styles.
