Venari Haliat is a male Trandoshan who was previously a member of the Trandoshan Elite mercenary group before, during, and after the Clone Wars. A powerful Force User and a intelligent ex-mercenary, he was relentless in his during missions back in his days of hired jobs. As a combatant, he is a proficient Vibroblade duelist; the advantage of a violent upbringing lead him to be one of the best during the Clone Wars, with the obvious exception to the legendary Knighs of the Jedi Order. As his mercenary career progressed, Haliat found the lack of will to do a job intolerable and expected all under his command to do their jobs. During the waning hours of the Clone Wars, Haliat had been on Kashyyyk when Order 66 was issued and was frankly very confused when he had witnessed Clone Troopers executing their Jedi Generals. He would later leave Kashyyyk in a hurry after witnessing those events, he would later return years later but in service of the Empire helping with capturing and enslaving the Wookiee populace which the irony did not escape him.

Biography

Early Life

Venari Haliat was born on the Trandoshan home world of Dosh, being born to a legendary figure in the mercenary known as <<*ERROR, FILE CORRUPTION DETECTED*>>, a founding member of the Trandoshan Elites mercenary group. Having being hatched last out of all his siblings Haliat was considered the youngest, shortly after hatching however Haliat devoured all of his siblings, which impressed his parents. As the norm was for a typical Trandoshan childhood, Haliat had gone on trips with his father to Kashyyyk to hunt down Wookiees, which most other species would find insane to bring your child along, but for Trandoshans it is called good parenting. During his trips to Kashyyyk, Haliat was well known in the surrounding Wookiee villages in the area he would hunt, he would eventually go onto hunting spacers that strayed to far from safety looking to make a name for themselves. It was around this time that he was contacted by his fathers associates about joining the Trandoshan-Only mercenary company.

Before the onset of the Clone Wars, Haliat would often travel between the planets Kashyyyk, Trandosha, and Taakarroo in his home system. During his travelling on Taakarroo, Haliat had encountered the Followers of Palawan who showed him Teräs Käsi, a form of hand-to-hand combat technique most commonly used to combat Jedi. At some point before the start of the Clone Wars, using his newly learned techniques, Haliat managed to kill a Jedi Knight (After a very hard and long battle) with the help of his father and party, at which point he learned he was Force-Sensitive.

Clone Wars

Following the declaration of the Clone Wars, the Confederacy of Independent Systems had dealings with numerous mercenary groups including the Trandoshan Elites to partake in the spoils of war.

Spoils of War

1 year into the war, Haliat was brought onto a mission to infiltrate and seize control of a Republic Assault Ship that was patrolling the Corellian sector, Haliat was tasked with leading teams to clear out the Clone Barracks onboard the ship, which he did with a smile on his face. A short time after the ship had been largely cleared, A Clone Commando team had infiltrated the ship and after hours of firefights throughout the ship, the Commandoes had cleared the command bridge and had called for reinforcements once a CIS Capital ship dropped out of Hyperspace. However once the Republic Cruiser arrived it was swiftly destroyed by the Lucrehulk Battleship. With the combined forces of the CIS and the remaining Trandoshan forces aboard the ship, eventually the Republic Commandos were overwhelmed and killed, Haliat had delivered the killing blow to the last one that had red markings on its armour, the same one that killed his father earlier. He and his men where eventually able to trade the ship for war materials to be used against the Wookiees later in the war.

The Fur Trade

In last few days of the Clone Wars, Haliat was apart of a Joint Trandoshan/Separatist taskforce which was under control of a lesser known Confederate General. Haliat, along with his fellow Trandoshans was attacked by a Jedi Strike Team composed of one Jedi Knight and a Clone Commando squad who managed to wipe out most enemies in their path in an attempt to rescue a Wookiee who was being kept as a prisoner, and yet Haliat managed to survive but with substantial injuries. Eventually the Strike team was overrun once again by Trandoshans and Separatist forces and killed as they tried to make their escape with the Wookiee prisoner, unfortunately he made to miss out on it due to his injuries.

Forest Ablaze

After recovering from his confrontation with the Jedi just days earlier, Haliat was sent to lead a force of Trandoshan Slavers and Mercenaries to support Separatist operations on Kashyyyk. During the Republic Invasion to liberate the planet, Haliat and his party had engaged numerous times with Clone squads and their Wookiee guides, most of which were patrols and not front-line units however, Haliat spent most of the time rounding up to-be slaves. Near what would be near the end of the Battle of Kashyyyk, Haliat and his men were scouting an area held by Republic Forces which comprised of a number of Clone Troopers and a single Jedi, as it seemed from one moment they were allies the next the Troopers had encircled the Jedi and gunned her down, this event had caused great confusion.

Return to Trandosha

Following the execution of the Jedi Generals on Kashyyyk, the Clones seemed more interested in the Wookiee populace then the outside forces, this created the perfect opportunity to leave Kashyyyk for the time being. He had arrived back to his remaining family and for awhile he teached his Clans young the key points in hunting and killing Wookiees as well as other species he had encountered.
