Born on Iridonia, Vukas Nonan was kept out of the public eye for his childhood. The Zabrak metamorphosized and breathed his first breath years ago, without the guidance of his parents. His mother passed away during childbirth without the opportunity to update birth records, leaving the horned child irrevocably thrown down a dark path. Bounced around foster homes and hospitals for the better part of ten years, he wasn't exposed to the typical education of those in society. By the age of thirteen, Vukas could barely read or write, instead, he mastered more practical skills such as powering and tinkering with protocol droids, manipulating hyperdrive outputs, and adjusting the blast velocities on weapons. Through this rough upbringing on Iridonia, he had a criminal record of substance, with various fights, scars, and bruises that followed him on a daily basis. Around his fifteenth birthday, the Zabrak discovered a talent for lucid observations and the ability to manipulate engines with rapid ease, while walking out of various multi-person fights with nothing more than a scratch. He maintained a flawless fighting record for the years that followed, before becoming romantically linked with a Coruscanti-Revwien hybrid, who traveled with Vukas to Millius Prime, the home of the Diathim.

Immediately the Zabrak was intoxicated by the woman known as Do'vida, drawn into young love by her passion for plants and fauna, and her proclivity for the occasional violence. Together they traveled through the rock city getting into trouble, embracing mutual respect for violence while their romantic entanglement grew exponentially. The Revwien drew her love of plants through an affinity to the force, often using vines, branches, and stems of plants to restrain or strangle her targets, or manipulating the poisonous attributes of the plant seeds to subdue an attacker. Through her use of the mystic art, she observed similar abilities within Vukas, and began to introduce the Zabrak to the powers that lay dormant within him.

What began as slow experimentation, moving objects, and manipulating simple attributes of items eventually morphed into a desire for pain and suffering. Do'vida was more than happy, even excited to slow the darker secrets she had acquired, which saw Vukas began to appreciate the ability to crush devices into a small pile of durasteel with only a subtle movement of his fingers.
