You've heard previews that a Kel Dor Jedi Master is about to address the galaxy on his thoughts on the current events. You turn to the correct frequency as the image of Vel Koon, seated in a large chair, appears on the screen.

The Kel Dor clears his throat as his breating gear begins to amplify his voice.

"For a thousand generations the Jedi Knights have been known as guardians of peace and justice. Under the Old Republic, we earned a reputation for our constancy and unwavering dedication to upright virtue, and not even the growing storm of discontent cast over the Senate so many years ago had ever dimmed the people's faith in the Jedi's integrity. That view as of late has become drastically altered.

"Back in the years of the Old Republic, the Jedi were unified, organized, and dedicated. Today, we are still scraping the galaxy for anyone who possesses sensitivity to the Force, hoping to rebuild what was destroyed in the past. Rebuilding can carry the burden of setbacks, for any and all organizations.

"The Jedi Code is one that is perceived by the eye of the beholder. We all have the general idea of it, but there are still bends and twists that are disputable.
