Garik Loren was a Hapan male turned Jawa and a pseudo-leader of the Mandroxan Syndicate. On Year 14 Day 25, Garik became one of the victims of the Metamorphosis Plague which rewrote his Hapan DNA into Jawa DNA. After faithfully serving in the Hutt Cartel and the Mandroxan Syndicate, he was later murdered by the Kubazi assassin Qaun Wain in an undisclosed dispute.

Early History

Garik was born Year -10 Day 174 in a farming village on Hapes. Not much is known of his childhood, other than his parents were named Derak and Marie Loren. During one of the many recessions during Year 2, Garik's parents decided to send him to his uncle on Corellia so he wouldn't haven't to face severe economic hardship in life. Once on Corellia, Garik's uncle put him straight to work for his freight company.

Starting as a maintenance technician, Garik learned to service a variety of ships and met many a character. After years of serving as a technician, Garik was finally allowed to pilot a YT-1300 under his uncle's supervision.
