Kane xa`i Xai's early years are shrouded in darkness, none know where he originated from and what sub-species of the Human race he is - he has been labelled as Human. He appeared on Galactic records of sorts on Tatooine during the years of the Hutt rule before the Republic's downfall to the Empire. A few whispers call him out as a former slave to colonists or Tusken Raiders deep in the deserts of Tatooine, whilst others choose not to entertain the fact he may of killed his former masters to escape. What is known is he was found wondering the outskirts of Mos Ispa in some ragged Tusken Raiders cloth and a blaster of some sort, looking to hire himself out as a bodyguard for the wealthy. After his appearance at Mos Ispa his trail goes cold, but only for a short few years before another sighting - according to the records, show Kane xa`i Xai off-world on a planet far from Tatooine, Kiffu. Kiffu is a planet known to many to have an warring culture between the great clans of the Kiffar race and for Kane xa`i Xai to appear on this planet is not at a loss. This sighting showing him being apart of a raiding party between to jungle clans have lead to the misconception that he is of Kiffar ancestry, however this has not been proven by any test to prove his heritage. Like a bird which migrates during the seasons Kane xa`i Xai soon disappears from Kiffu once the warring clans he involved himself with subsided, thus seeing it as a time to disappear from the Galaxy once more. People never really paid attention to Kane xa`i Xai as he travelled the Galaxy, not making any friends or business contacts, just moving from job to job without even a ship at hand. Rumours emerged that he spent time on the Smuggler's moon Nar Shaddaa to the Sith planet of Korriban, but nothing was confirmed on his whereabouts for several, long years which lead people to suspect he was deceased. | |||

Like wildfire rumours spread quickly throughout the hyper lanes and without this nomad mercenary for hire many forgot about Kane xa`i Xai, until the fall of the Republic and the rise of the Empire. As the Empire clasped its grip on the frail Republic and re-branded the government in a single swift move, many planets took up resistance to this and wanted no part of the Imperial Order which rose. This sparked the return of Kane xa`i Xai as he saw it an opportunity to make credits by becoming a mercenary once again, for either side - whoever paid the most. So he travelled to this planets where fighting took place and become of sorts a Rebel for hire, even though he had no interest in the Galactic civil war which was brewing, some say he was even a Stormtrooper for hire. Many would like to speculate where he was during the years beforehand, but the truth was he was hiding out in the Unknown regions on Chiss and this is believed to be where his hatred for Slavery begun. Years had passed since the Imperial Order rose into power and soon the Galaxy was split into two sides - the Rebel Alliance which became the New Republic and the Galactic Empire, which forced Kane xa`i Xai to choose whom he will support. Knowing the might of the Empire and its grip on the Galaxy plus the bountiful of credits which he can obtain from the Empire, he choose to become a supporter for the Imperial Order and stayed within space belonging to or whom were friendly with the Galactic Empire. This then ended his link to the Rebel Alliance and their plight to restore a Republic to the Galaxy, Kane xa`i Xai then disappeared from the records once again and only appeared once more - due to the fact he never disappeared again. | |||
