| Facial tattoos are used to signify a persons status within the clan.

| A single horizontal line underneath the eye signifies a person who is on the path to joining the clan, but has not yet passed their trials (Honorary). One downward line signifies someone who has passed their trial and been accepted into the clan proper (Kin). Two downward lines shows someone has proved their loyalty to the clan, and is a senior member (Blood). Three downward lines show leadership, or someone who was previously leadership and has since retired.
