Glenn was often seen exploring caves along the desert wastelands on sometimes getting into scuffles with local riffraff rendering cuts and bruises with an occasional black eye and bruised ribs. His parents, concerned with his future, enrolled Glenn in military school at a young age. They hoped to focus his adventurous spirit into something more productive.
