The BT-500 is an aging but useful rifle that has been used by mercenaries for many years. With a short reload rate and and a high ammo capacity, it has attracted the attention of those who appreciate large volumes of fire in short spaces of time. Comfortable and most accurate at medium range it isn't a sniper rifle but can still take out distant enemies. It is however, heavy, bulky, lacks the power to do major damage and is inaccurate. To make up for this it is fairly cheap for what it is and requires less skill to use it to its full extent.
