| ==Beginning==

| Born in a middle class family, his father was an engineer of some talent and his mother took care of his brother and sisters. A simple life would wait for him if he wanted: to many on Corellia, working in the shipyard would be simple and tiring.. No adventure, no pleasure in life. Valerian wouldn't take it and always made sure to skip that life any way he could. One of his favorite things to do was to spend his time in cantina, listening to pilot stories and rumors from around the galaxy. He heard of a world full of gold and another one so cold, the people living there had no heart and had blue skins. Valerian knew it was a big pile of bantha poo but it was still more interesting than the equation of density and refraction of energy in durelium while in space combat.

| Convincing his family that this could help him toward engineering work, he was able to enroll in the flight academy on Corellia, joining thousands of cadets, learning how to pilot and survive in space combat. Three years later, he received his diplomat not as the best student but as a good one. The best was directly recruited in the Imperial Navy but that was not something that made Valerian eyes sparkle. He wanted to join something bigger than the simplest solution. He was afraid of leaving his family but leaving would mean something more..but also losing it all, everything that made his life safe and where he knew that he could always go if he would lose his job or even if he would fall. Two weeks later, he was on a ship inbound for a far away planet in search of something new.

| ==A new beginning==

| Doing job after job, either as pirate hunter or simply as pilot for commercial business searching for someone to move their stuff, Valerian started to feel bored, doing the same thing without having a goal to work towards. Owning a ship? That was easier than he had to admit. Couple jobs, enough credits and he could own anything he wanted.

| Two years had passed since he left his home world and he wanted something else. He was at the local cantina on a cold world in the system of Csilla when he saw another Corellian taking the seat next to him at the counter; at least he thought he was Corellian as he was the only other one who wasn't a native of the planet. [[Caalin Wooro]] he said his name was, a marine from the Hapan Consortium there to meet an old friend of his. They spoke for a while, drinking, until Caalin had to leave. “Join me in Hapan, i'm sure you will find what you’re searching for,” Caalin said before leaving for an unknown location.

| Weeks after speaking with his old friend, Valerian met with a Hapes recruiter and started his training under the command of Lieutenant Commander [[Taryn Zaraan]]. After much ground and space combat as well as studying in the Star Home Academy, Valerian graduated and joined the Royal Hapan Navy. Taryn being the Director of the Office of Hapan Recruitment, offered a job as a recruiter for the OHR.

| A few months later, with some promotion inside Hapes, Valerian went from Lerin to Locargix and finally Nethir. He was offered the position of Assistant Director of the OHR on Year 21 days 287. Working with the Director showed Valerian much of the higher rank work of the OHR. Working Operation after Operation for the RHAF, Valerian was then promoted to Master Crewman.

| On Year 22 Day 15, after months working under Lt.Cmd Zaraan in the OHR, he was offered a chance to show his skill and wits by King [[Zayth Kadrim]] as the new Director of the Office of Hapan Recruitment. Not long after that, he receive another promotion to the rank of Rennith and a last one some months later to the rank of Minesthe.
