The Corpse Flower is one of the eiriest, strangest flowers in the galaxy. It got its name from its unsettling habit of growing on the graves of the dead, and nowhere else. Even more unsettling was how quickly the plant would appear after burial, sometimes taking as little as a day to sprout on the graves.

Taxonomy

The Corpse Flower is one of the strangest adaptations of flowering plants in the galaxy. Known as Nekrosi mewt in scientific literature, the Corpse Flowers strange characteristics come from its root system.
