The Industrial Confederacy was originally founded in Year 18 by brothers Alexander and Vladimir Petrakis with the intent to allow all sentient beings to have the benefits of a corporation without the upkeep of one. The company found initial success as orders came in and would expand into the medical sector with the opening of Petrakis Medical. The new medical company would find initial success, but lack of enthusiasm from Vlad, caused strain on the venture. the Petrakis Brothers then sold the medical company to the Archduchy of Tolonda. With Vladimir becoming bored with day to day operations of The Industrial Confederacy that he would close it down and Alexander would move on with Petrakis Medical and still work as the CEO.

However, this was short lived as he felt that the Archduchy was not right for him and wanted to work alongside family again. Alexander would leave Oshora Pharmacology and reform The Industrial Confederacy with Vladimir Petrakis with the same intentions as before. In Year 20 Alexander would go on to discover the Jedha system and the Petrakis family would immediately claim the system for themselves.
