Harlequin Auction Company (Frequently abbreviated as HAC) is an auction house founded by Moretti'ameli'arose in Year 19.

History

Amelia's first auction

After her wedding, Amelia Moretti quickly found herself interested in starting up her own handhold in the trading market. She found it particularly interesting to start an auction company, since she has noticed there was a niche not being filled with Gilded Rose Auction House, Centrepoint Market and the Trade Federation Department of Trade. On Day 216 of Year 19, the Harlequin Auction Company was officially launched with the first auction following nine days later. The Harlequin Auction Company is based on a Trading II space station.

Organization

HAC has three levels of staff: Stafflings, Staff and Founding Staff. Stafflings are new additions to the staff team, Staff is for longer serving members and Founding Staff is reserved for the original staff team. To protect the HAC Space Station from riots and thieves, Wedge Cornely has been appointed as the station's peacekeeper. It's rumored that the peacekeeper position was invented to protect the company from Amelia's frequent outbursts and bad decisions, however those rumors are unconfirmed.
