Khorde Devarian (known as Khorde or K to friends) is a male Naboo who grew up in the city Keren. A young man, he currently serves as Editor-in-Chie of Veritas News Incorporated.

Biography

Born in the middle of Year -10, Khorde was a single child, and as such was always well-cared for by his parents. He grew up in the city of Keren on Naboo, in a middle-class family. They were wealthy enough, and Khorde lived a mostly normal life. He had a good education, something which benefitted him greatly in later life. He left school at the age of 18 with a good education, being a very intelligent being. He always knew that he would do well, and a huge amount of determination meant that anything his mind was put to was more than likely to be done – provided it was possible.

At the age of 18, Khorde left school and had aspirations of touring the galaxy. He was never hindered by fear, or lack of fortitude. The only thing which did obstruct his efforts was the funds. A starship would cost him a large sum of credits, a sum so large that his parents – as supportive as they were – were unable to provide. So for two years he had a job as a shop assistant in a spare ship parts dealer. The tedious, boring, underpaying job was tormenting, but he never gave in. As soon as he had the money to buy a small ship, he resigned from his position and went straight to the starport. His first ship was a Y-Wing BTL-S3, which he imaginatively named Fighter 1.

The next 3 years of his life were spent touring the galaxy. He saw the Galactic Museum, visited Centrepoint Space Station, and made many great friends along the way. When this period of luxury ended due to a drought in credits in Khorde’s bank account, he joined Veritas Press. Immediately enlisting in the Engineering Corps division, he became a pilot under the Director Val Ambrose. Flying was something he had always been good at, which was the reasoning behind this decision.

Two months into the job, his friend Val left the corporation, and so Khorde decided to move to the Veritas News division and work under his good friend Jorus Serto. His writing skills soon cultivated from satisfactory to prolific, and he soon escalated the ranks of VNI. As the Senior Manager, he helped with the production of several GNS publications.

One month ago, Jorus Serto relocated from VNI to the VEC division of Veritas. This resulted in Khorde becoming the Editor-in-Chief of Veritas Press.

Appearance

Khorde has fair, but tanned skin and a very hard complexion. His facial features are very sharp, which reflects his personality. He has curly, prematurely grey hair and pale blue, calculating eyes. He is often seen wearing a navy blue suit, but in fact he is not often seen at all. He spends most of his time aboard his various ships in the Hapes Cluster.

Abilities and Personality

As an intelligent young man, Khorde has always cruised into high-ranking positions with ease. His many talents have served him well, and continue to serve him well even now. A considerable pilot, he spends most of his time cruising around the Lorell system, practicing his skills. He is also a formidable businessman, diplomat and a productive writer.

A very serious man, Khorde is always very formal when dealing with clients and people of importance. Towards friends, however, he is a known practical joker and is always looking to have fun. He is a sociable sentient, and from the cockpit of his ship he spends most of his time communicating with his associates.
