Biography

Beginnings and Early Life

Childhood

Torak was born on Thyferra to Arslan & Pyrene Kruhl. They both had been Doctors but were now joint Directors of one of the largest Medical Corporations on Thyferra. Due to his parents desire to rise in the social standings and become part of the Thyferran elite, they never had much time for him. Almost immediately from his birth Torak was given into the care of the family's medical droids and servants.

School

Once he was old enough Torak was pack off to the most prestigious boarding school on Thyferra. He would spend all his time there apart from the summer break each year, were he would return to his family home. Those breaks were short and as Torak got older he looked forward to them ending more and more. So he could return to school and see his friends and teachers, how had become more like family with each passing year. During his time at the school he was taught the usual medical lessons which most natives of Thyferra were not only adept at but found it almost second nature. He believed his parents wanted him to excel at this and then continue on with the family business, giving them even more kudos within the community.That was not Torak's plan though, he had other dreams....... Luckily his parents didn't take much notice in his schooling, mainly that he was attending and not causing and problems that they would of had to deal with. Due to this he was able to change the lessons he studied. He continued with some basic medical lessons but more as a means to fall back on, should it be needed. His real love and where he put most of his attention was in Technology, Research and the Sciences. Another reason that he knew his place wasn’t to stay on Thyferra and follow his parents, was that during his younger years he had noticed that unlike most of his other fellow Thyferrans, he liked and respected the other native species of Thyferra, the Vratix. Through his research at school, mainly in the un-authorised section of the Thyferran library, he found that the Vratix were the true creators and founders of Bacta and that they should have a greater place in Thyferran society and history. During his school time he started laying plans for his future, gaining some associates out in the greater Galaxy. One of these was an Ithorian, Peter Green-Star, head of Green-Star Medical Rescue and through Peter he also gained contact with a fellow native of Thyferra a Vratix, Dr Spree Razzix, director of Xucphra and part of the Mecrotica conglomerate.

Leaving Thyferra

When it was time to leave his home planet and venture out into the greater galaxy, Peter gifted him a G-1A Starfighter. It wasn’t the greatest ship in the galaxy but it was Torak’s first ship and he would always be grateful to Peter for that act of generosity. He spoke at length with Peter about a possible future with him and GSMR before venturing on to the Phu Sector for an interview with Spree about possibly working with him. After deliberating on his options he decided to go and work with Spree and Xucphra.

Working

Joining Xucphra

Upon joining Xucphra he realised that although he had finished his education his learning was only just beginning. He was taught how to pilot a range of ship with in the Xucphra fleet, how to move stock and materials around the Phu Sector to all the Factory's and depots, and how to manufacture the medical supplies. Whilst working and learning these jobs Torak started to meet not only the rest of the Xucphra team but also the other members of the Mecrotica conglomerate with which all worked very closely together.

Moving to Mecrosa

After a number of months a job came up that needed Torak to work with in the Mecrosa department of Mecrotica. This work was more orientated to one of his passions, building. As he excelled and enjoyed the work he requested to make his switch permanent. Not long after switching a large construction job was needed on Hjaff II. During this time Torak not only learned how to construct a range of buildings and how to organise and encourage large amount of Workers but become so proficient at it at that for awhile he was one of the only employees working at building the Gas Giant.

Recongntion

Due to his efforts in the Construction of Hjaff II on Year 18, Day 255, Dac Kain the CEO of Mecrotica made Torak Kruhl Magistrate for the Planet.
