The JUGANOTH Mining Corporation (JMC) is a mining company presently owned by the New Republic and one of the longest extant organizations in the galaxy. Juganoth's activities involve all facets of mining, including exploration, development, production, and reclamation. Many years ago, the mining corporation was formed by Captain Friar Blues, a former bounty hunter and shady businessman who had gone into the raw materials racket with his Wookiee companion Tal'ord.
