G Company is a unit within the Research Department of [[Ternion Corps]], organized under the Protectorate Research Command of the [[Republic Protectorate of Quantxi]]. G Company is unique in the Corps, as it is the only unit currently allowed to include non-humans as well as non-clones in pursuit of its mission. Colonel [[Paul Luz]], a noted researcher himself, was tasked by General Cap Pinu, leader of the Protectorate Research Command, to identify, vet, and recruit the best minds in the galaxy to give the Protectorate the leading edge. G Company includes clone researchers, in addition to teams of Geonosian, Chevin, and Baragwin researchers. The Baragwin members were recruited from Paul's extended family, who worked in shipyards during the war and has expertise with weapon development. The Chevin researchers were recruited from the best schools on Vinsoth when Ternion Corps was based on that world. It was during that time that Luz also recruited a team of Geonosian scientists who were seeking refuge after the collapse of the New Republic.
