Childhood

Both his father Mornee Yuntaare and his mother Elabma'a Ummar were slaves of a Falleen. His father was one of the cooks and his mother the personal pianist of the slave holder. They were taken from their homeworld in the Bosph (System) a little while ago.

When Meelko was born his fathers protected him from their lord. They convinced him that he was too small to do any valuable task, and that he will be more valuable whenever he becomes an adult. That way, he would be free to learn and live as a "free" slave until he gets to his adulthood. His mother taught him the old ways of the Bosph, as she told him about the Yentarr. Meelko was fully impressed with those histories. Meelko saw the Yentarr as those wise old spirits who only do good in the galaxy.
