The 008 Heavy Landspeeder is designed to contain primarily infantry and personnel. It is slower than some combat vehicles but has a great maneuverability equal to the X-34 Landspeeder from which its modified chassis draws inspiration.
However its armament will make it a threat to many other ground vehicles and speeders. Though of course it is no threat to Imperial Walkers.
It originally came from the R&D Labs of Aratech though others are expected to copy it in years to come due to its desirability.
