| Jack Starways was born on Alderaan, in the Coldcloud Hospital. He grew up in House Starways, although his parents weren't rich.

| He had a good life, as his family always said that money didn't give any luck.

| At the age of 10, his parents got into trouble with a gang. They claimed that his family owed them 12 000 credits. As his parents didn't got that amount of credits, they refused.

| The gang's leader shot down Jack's mother, and his father suddenly started fighting the gang so Jack could escape.

| "Jack, get away from here and make your life!" were his father's last words, before he was shot down.

| While the local police arrived to arrest the gang, he escaped.
