Jordanus Starscream is an Admiral and the current Secretary of the Navy, the highest ranking officer in the Department of the Navy, in the Trade Federation’s Ministry of Defense. In addition, he is also the heir of House Starscream - a minor noble House originally of Onderon.

Early Years

Born on the planet Onderon in the Japrael system of the Outer Rim, on Day 241, Year -10 Jordanus has mixed origin. His father, Ilias Starscream, was a minor Onderonian noble, the head of House Starscream, and a Colonel in the planet’s Armed Forces. His mother, an elegant woman originally of Hapes, was an entrepreneur and a politician, having decided to settle on Onderon a decade prior to giving birth.

Due to this origin, the young Onderonian had the potential to achieve great things. Because of the influence and relatively big wealth of his family, he had access to the more elite schools and academies in the capital – Iziz City, receiving high-quality education from Onderon’s best instructors. In the several years he had attended educational institutions, Jordanus had learned much about culture, his homeworld, the Galactic Republic and the Galaxy as a whole. In addition to this, however, he also underwent a special 3-years training regime, starting when the boy was eight, under Colonel Starscream. This training included the basics of starfighter piloting and ground warfare, unarmed combat, as well as several somewhat complicated melee combat techniques. His Hapan mother, Gaeriel Starscream, also made her input on the child’s future by teaching him the ropes of running a business, and the main principles of politics. Knowing that due to being an outsider to Onderon, despite the many years of living there, she could never reach the high echelons of the planet’s government, she wanted to give her only son the chance to do so.

Despite eventually preferring the life of a military man to that of a politician, the influence of both his parents during his childhood would prove to be of assistance to Jordanus in the years to come.
