Tri-council
Skoria is ruled by a council of three individuals, if one should fall, then the replacement is decided by the other members of the tri-council. The arrangement of power and say in the clan between the three leaders is equal.
Culture
The clan placed little importance on birthplace or citizenship, and so had no official "state" as understood by galactic politics, gender also means little as everyone is considered equal. When it comes to family dynamics, clan members place no difference between a biological child or one who has been adopted.
Tattoos

From left to right: Honorary, Kin, Blood, and Tri-council facial tattoos. |
Facial tattoos are used to signify a persons status within the clan.
A single horizontal line underneath the eye signifies a person who is on the path to joining the clan, but has not yet passed their trials (Honorary). One downward line signifies someone who has passed their trial and been accepted into the clan proper (Kin). Two downward lines shows someone has proved their loyalty to the clan, and is a senior member (Blood). Three downward lines show leadership, or someone who was previously leadership and has since retired.
Code
Skoria functions on a code of honour, and to break that code is one of the greatest disgraces an individual can have befall them. The code is as follows:
All individuals must be treated with respect, and equality, discrimination of any form brings dishonour. Every members allegiance is to the clan first and foremost, to betray one is to betray us all.
Punishment
While the severity of the transgression determines the punishment, it can range from a simple apology, to a call for offending party to be put to death in the most extreme cases. Usually exile is preferred for the more severe transgressions, with the offender having their facial tattoos branded over to mark them as an outcast, but their lives spared for admitting their guilt.

History
Founding
Skoria was founded by Nox Callias, Mishka Sorokin and Ylvia Skelgard, when all of them decided to enter in a union. Ylvia, being from a Kiffar clan of Skelgard and having been elevated to its leadership after her fathers death, was able to convince her clan and its retainers to merge into a new clan with the Callias 'family', which became known as Skoria. Instead of a single leader, the power and say would be shared in a triumvirate form of leadership between three people.
