Balthazar Kunzite is a male Kiffar born into the Kunzite clan on the planet Kiffex. Though few may not trust him due to his checkered past, Balthazar would need to prove to the Kiffars that he is not like his father and prove his loyalty to the members of the new faction that he is willing to help protect the innocent citizens of the galaxy in any way he can. Due to the recent passing of Armanth Kunzite, the responsibilities of the clan now fall upon Zolvus Kunzite.

Early Life

Even though Balthazar was born on Kiffex he experiences the life of smuggling and space exploration. Both of his parents love to live life to its fullest to them which meant smuggling stolen property from Galactic Empire or by other means. Ryoko was the carrying one out of the two wanting to help innocent citizens if she could tough she could be hardheaded at times while Armanth tends to make enemies wherever he went by disregarding what would happen to the citizens on either side of the galactic war just as long he was paid. From time to time Armanth action would cause a rift amongst the two seeing that when he did this they would be targeted by bounty hunters and other shadowy organizations who were contracted to take out the smug smuggler.

Despite this, the two try to make life normal for their young son or as normal as they could. Balthazar was able to explore parts of the known galaxy with his parents seeing interesting people and different races. At the age of 9, Armanth bought his son a blaster thinking that it was about time to teach the boy how to defend himself. They spent any moment they could between jobs hunting on various planets encountering different creatures, Balthazar became quite adept at this that it was rarer for a creature to know what hit them until it was too late. While Ryoko thought it would be best to teach Balthazar how to speak Bocce & Huttese seeing that from time to time Hutt's would hire them to do some off the book smuggling, while Bocce was used from time to time between some pilot and spacers which from her experience help in certain situations.

At the age of 12, the family found out that Ryoko was losing her eyesight and that eventually, she would go blind. Despite this Ryoko refuse to go down without a fight she bought a red and black R3 Series Astromech that would help her plot a course to their new job location. During this time Balthazar found himself helping Ryoko as well seeing that it was the perfect time for him to start working in the family business of smuggling and he could earn some credits with the family. Balthazar preferred helping his ailing mother seeing that the past few years Armanth and him been growing apart, it seems to the young man that his father seems to become more and more aggressive as of late. Thanks to Armanth aggressive behavior the rift between Ryoko and him and finally took effect and the two decided to separate and go on to their own ways. For the next few months, the three of them continue to work as a smuggling group Ryoko begin to show signs that flying around and continuing this line of work may not be the best choice though, as usual, she was too hardheaded to admit it during this time Balthazar slowly began to learn Binary.

During a particular smuggling job, Ryoko and Balthazar found out how dangerous it was to be associated with the Kunzite clan. During the job, everything seems to be going well until their employer notices the red claw qukuuf marking that was at Balthazar's left eye. Things quickly became hostile when their employer and hid guards drew their blaster and pointed them at Ryoko's son demanding for the boy to tell them the location of Armanth and of the missing cargo. Balthazar inheriting his mother's hotheadedness refuse to tell them anything they wanted to know, the results of this life or death blaster fight where mother and son had to escape while they did they loss the R3 droid and Ryoko was shot with nowhere else to go, Balthazar, plot a course to Kiffex. Arriving at Kiffex they made their way too deep into the woods arriving at a temple that was run by Balthazar grandfather Zolvus Kunzite. Balthazar didn't know much about his grandfather the young boy only seen him from time to time and he heard rumors that the elderly man may have some sort of strange power though no one knows what that was or if this was true. Without question, Zolvus quickly took the two in and being to take care of Ryoko with herbal medicines that he had.

It was a couple of months later before Ryoko was able to walk around without hurting, though sadly with her eyesight fully gone she had to retire from smuggling. Despite the fact that Ryoko and his son weren't together anymore Zolvus was kind enough to allow the two to stay at the temple with him, seeing that his son never bothered in visiting and never took claim to the clan it was the safe place to live. Ryoko was willing to take the offer but Balthazar was disappointed he like the fast potential danger of the smuggler life and didn't want to stay on Kiffex though the young boy was soon to learn that the life his grandfather live anything but that. Zolvus begin to teach Balthazar how to use plants for their medical use, even though he board the young boy did learn a few things thought few years he eventually become interested. One day while they were out gathering plants they could hear blaster fire when the two arrive they could see a bandit group attacking the village, Zolvus and Balthazar begin to take potshot at the bandit group eventually taking them out. After they made sure that everyone was all right Balthazar decided that he was going to try and do try he wanted to help people who were in need just like his mother and grandfather.

Lies, paranoia.. & the wannabe Sith?

Few months pass Balthazar went from job to job, none of them seem to keep his interest for too long. One day he received an invite from a Government group looking for members to join their ranks, Balthazar agreed and join the ranks of The Sith Imperium. When he first join everything seem to be normal the young adventurer join the ranks of the army believing in the lies that were told: "We're here to help the citizens of the galaxy." he like so many others trusted them and couldn't see the corruption from within.

After a few months, the Facade of the government begin to crumble when the higher up's begin to bicker and fight amongst themselves. Upon seeing this handful of military members begin to wonder if they were really fighting for the citizens like they were told they were. This was confirmed when the Sith princess left followed by the head and few well-known members of their military leaving as well. With this news more and more people being to see the group as they truly were paranoid, liers. Balthazar and a few others were able to find this out and like many others were able to take advantage of the government's confusion and corruption, with the help of The Jedi Order were able to leave the government and get to safety. Balthazar was grateful for The Jedi Order's help, he spent the next few weeks making sure his friends were safe and to re-think his career path.
