Gree III is a large gaseous world located in the north east corner of the Gree sector.

Overview

Gree III, a massive gas giant, serves as a research and design centre for the Gree Trade Authority. Sparsely settled, the planet has proven to be an effective and isolated testing ground for scientific research in a variety of fields. The planet has a solid core made of metal followed by an atmosphere made up primarily of hydrogen and helium. The atmospheric gases are poisonous, the pressure and temperature far beyond what most sentient species can tolerate. Approximately 150 kilometers down from space, there is a habitable layer with an oxygen-rich atmosphere and suitable temperature and pressure for life to survive. This layer is where the existing cities and infrastructure exist to house Gree III's population of more than four million sentients, the majority being scientists and their families employed by the Gree Trade Authority.
