Early Life
Elas was born on Af'el before the outbreak of the civil war. He lived a rather anonymus life as a hunter for the people of Af'el (due to the harsh living conditions there was little in the way of rivalry between defel or defel clans). He proved himself a rather adept at hunting on the planets surface.
CryoMed Laboratories
The people Elas had chartered off world with happened to be a medical group. Elas felt that this was a good starting place to begin his quest for knowledge. Signing on as a junior doctor Elas began working his way within the Company structure. He found himself a natural doctor and when he felt the time was right, he revealed his true nature. The news was met with surprise but not the shock Elas had expected. He was quickly promoted to Executive of Production, then to Logistics. During his time Elas befriended Flar Gar of The Chiss Ascendancy (then known as Chiss Material Extractions)
The Chiss Ascendancy
During a tour of Chiss Territory, Elas became aware of a plot to kill his friend Flar. This plot was made by extremist Chiss, masterminded by Carn`ilo` Sabosen. Elas found himself in a situation where he could stop the assassination attempt. Elas acted with the skill and efficiency that had been taught to him many years ago. He swiftly arrested Nilos and after a trial lasting only 3 days, Killed him. After this display Elas retired from CryoMed, not wishing them to get pulled into what was quickly becoming a "Chiss Shadow War". After several months a merger was announced between The Traditionalist Chiss Ascendancy-In-Exile and The Progressive Chiss Material Extractions (now The Chiss Ascendancy) Elas has shown a willingness to work with several Traditionalist members to help benefit the Chiss race, a race he sees as kin to his own.
