Djack Gula is a purple, badly scarred, Hutt with a white belly and a blue eye. He is a greedy, merciless being with little care for others. He has a strange fascination for humanoid females, often enslaving them for his pleasure. He also enjoys cruelty in the form of torture, executions, and subjugation. He loves trophies, and one of his greatest pleasures in life - aside from using spice and drinking boga noga - is going on safari. However, he does have a softer side in that he cares about and respects family, to a certain extent. Djack holds a firm belief in the Hutt way of life, and loves the guile and intrigue that is part of everyday life.

After crash landing on Ryloth Djack the Hutt preyed on lone Twi’lek children, kidnapping, and then selling them for a small profit to a group of Trandoshans. A member of the Mytaranor Slaving Council Djack the Hutt and his Trandoshan slavers were behind the sudden disappearance of an entire colony of people on the planet Iotra. The up-and-coming gangster established his criminal empire on the remote gas world of Mondress. He moved his criminal operations into an old Potentium Temple, safely nestling himself in the planet's comfortable obscurity.
