Malia Reighner was raised to be adaptive and knowledgeable. Using her skills that were passed onto her by her parents she left her home behind and went out to make something of herself.

Sands of Tatooine

Malia Reighner was born and raised on the arid plains of Tatooine. Her loving mother, Jessica Reighner; and strong father, Sebastian Reighner were life-long moisture farmers. Their skill sets allowed them to take all kinds of odd jobs around the dry wastelands of Tatooine. From producing tools and useful equipment, to locating new moisture deposits and repairing electronics. Being raised in such a environment with her parents permitted Malia to grow up with a strong mindset and a wealth of knowledge in the fields of Industry(Production, Recycling, Mining...etc), but also with having the benefit of being able to adapt when under pressure.

Years passed by and Malia devoted herself to her parent's needs and requests. As the years went on she got older and so did her parents. The sands of time took Malia's mother and soon after, her father. She was struck by the news of both their passing's as she returned from one of her trips across the sands. The local medics stated that the mother died of natural causes(old age) and while the father died seemingly as if he had lost his will to live(loss of his beloved wife which he was married to since he was a young man). Malia was allowed access to her parents will and was given everything they had, which wasn't really much. Just several Moisture Harvesters and a small patch of sand to call her own.

Malia vowed in honor of her passed parents that she would continue to operate the harvesters until such a time as she could afford to purchase a ship to venture out into the stars and make something more of her self and her family's legacy.

Love Life

Year 11 & 12

Shorly after leaving Tatooine, Malia met a Selkath named Shall Ti in the Corporate Academy of Corporate Alliance, and the two became close friends very quickly. Going through the same courses, both Malia and Shall decided it would be best to spend many nights and any spare time together studying or doing recreational activities. Half way through their required classes at the academy the male Selkath Shall Ti decided to step up and asked Malia Reighner to be in a relationship with him. At first Malia asked for some time so that she could think about it. Several days later she approached him and gave her answer to him, that answer being yes. They both continued to see each other through out the remaining days at the academy. Both graduating in top 5% of the students that graduated. They went on to work in Corporate Alliance each in their own departments. Gradually but steadily elevated in the ranks.

Year 13

Through out each others extremely successful careers, both slowly became less and less capable of spending time with other. Both Malia and Shall had their respected positions and people to manage. Only being capable of seeing each other for limited amounts of time when they happened to report in for duty and during holidays.

Year 14

The relationship between the two continued but nothing out of normal happened till day 168 of year 14. That was the day Malia had to return to CA space to hand in her completed assignments to the Chief Magistrate. Landing her ship in her designated bay at the station. After successfully landing she got ready and had the ramp extend down, taking the few steps to set foot on the solid ground. Noticing that Shall Ti was there and not who she knew was Chief Magistrate surprised her, she approached him and was given a big surprised that he was promoted to Chief Magistrate. After telling her this Shall Ti knelt down onto his knee and looked up at her to propose. Malia responded with a quick nod and a instant yes. Both agreed that they would not do a wedding and only become legally married through court. After signing of all the papers and going on vacation together, Shall Ti offered the promotion of Vice-Magistrate of Corporate Alliance, she was more then surprised and accepted this as well.

After enjoying the time she had with her husband she had to get back to work and made a request to the courts to have her name legally changed to Malia Ti Reighner.
