The MTV-7 is a light patrol and reconnaissance vehicle. MTV stands for Multi-Terrain Vehicle. Originally designed for the Imperial Army it was rejected and delegated to the world of private armies, government garrisons, and private citizens.
The main flaw of the vehicle is its open air cockpit which offers insufficient protection for its occupant in any prolonged combat.
The vehicle has two modes which its wheels can be set to. The first is a ground hugging configuration where the vehicle has low clearance over the ground. Ideal for ice and plains this configuration is generally used the least though. In the other setting the cockpit sits high above the wheels.
Still for the private citizen this vehicle is common enough that almost anyone can get one.
It is unknown who the original designer was.
