Byn Koor
Byn Koor
Early Life
Left on the doorstep of a Baran Do monastery. Byn was named and raised by the sages of his homeworld and trained as such. Though he, like many others, did not appear to be force sensitive when taken in, he was still raised as one of their own taking on the surname of one of his mentors Bel Koor.
The young Kel Dorian took a liking to flying before he was able. Once he got the chance to learn to fly the Sages' dustcropper for their farms, he was hooked. He learned much in the philosophical teachings of the Baran Do path and from flying lessons with their pilots. He also picked up a few things from cargo pilots that brought supplies to the monastery. That was how he received a contact through the Exchange and bought his pathway offworld to Coruscant.
Stranded and alone the Force crossed his path with aid from the Ashla Covenant where he was able to receive his first starship. He then decided that his calling was to move cargo and help those in need (including himself). Which he did, what started as a favor for a friend slowly began to blossom into business opportunities. He was well on his way to building up a cargo fleet.
Freelancer
Due to his carefree, wanderlust nature. Koor found short stints of work helping factions meet their quotas. He ran with the Falleen Naval Logistics for a very short time, and spent close to a year flying under the flag of the Commerce Guild until their "sitter" program was removed.
Hosnian Crisis
Koor found his place in the galaxy when he accepted a contract to the Hosnian system to relocate some workers. Halfway to the system the skirmishes between the New Republic and the Galactic Empire broke out and the simple taxi service turned into a rescue mission. Although some workers were executed before he arrived, Byn found the adrenaline rush exhilarating which led him (in many peoples' opinions) to prefer high risk missions.
