The Dark Honor is a Foray-class Blockade Runner currently in possession of Jack Starways. It was found as a derelict ship inside an asteroid field and was claimed by the Starways Corporation after a small incursion with bandits. It now serves in the Corporation's Honor Fleet as a forward vanguard vessel and sports the typical dark gray-orange paintscheme of the Corporation.

History

Since her discovery in the asteroid fields, little has been uncovered regarding the Dark Honor’s history. Its make and model were easily discovered, though dating back to long before the Republic ceased to exist, but the ship’s computer and chain code were entirely wiped. The Corporation does not know who the previous owners were, and Jack Starways hasn’t put much effort into looking. It wasn’t registered as stolen, and that was good enough for him.

Interior

The Dark Honor is a powerful new addition to the Starways Corporation, designed as a blockade runner for compact manoeuvrability and attack. As such, its interior is designed to be as space efficient as possible. Only the Captain has their own quarters onboard the ship, with the rest of the crew disbursed to multiple bunk cabins. However, there is a small galley and a recreation room that can double as extra storage when necessary. The interior of the Foray-Class ship matches its exterior paint, with its hull painted a dark grey with orange accents.

Secrets

Due to the vast number of pirates and scavengers in the galaxy, Dark Honor typically has extra parts stashed away in a cargo bay, mislabeled as ration bars to deter discovery by any potential boarding parties. This is a trick that Jack Starways learned from his father as a teenager and has been implemented on practically every Starways Corporation ship. It has saved the various members of the Corporation during many hostile encounters.

Crew

Typically, the ship is operated by a small skeleton crew of about twenty people, but the ship is licensed to hold up to 350 passengers in an emergency. The ship is currently captained by Alderaanian pilot Reena Aldesh, who has been with the company since Jack was a toddler.
