Deakon's Law

Not really a philosphy or well known in the galaxy. The laws were made up from the experiences of Deakon Jarvis who gathered a list of life inspired discoveries to make a guide of common galactic wisdom that shaped him from those events in his life. It appearently started out as a joke but as years went past more laws were added. It was only in Year 14 Deakon Jarvis listed all the laws he could remember.

Deakon's Law 1:

When you cannot count on others to step up. Do it yourself or try to lead the way.

Deakon's Law 2:

It takes two to get a reaction.

Deakon's Law 3:

Three is the magic number!

Deakon's Law 4:

One must always keep your ideas and store them by other means. A brain has to many things to remember.

Deakon's Law 5:

Talking to much to an audience with short attention span is a waste of time for both parties.

Deakon's Law 6:

Never complain about free things. Be thankful.

Deakon's Law 7:

Paying for something gives you the privilege to complain.

Deakon's Law 8:

It is easy to pack up larger things than small knick knacks.

Deakon's Law 9:

The more you moan and groan and criticise, the less chances you like anything.

Deakon's Law 10:

When in doubt just smile and nod your head. If you feel uneasy just laugh.

Yawns and smiles are contagious.

Deakon's Law 12:

Always look for the silver lining in everything.

Deakon's Law 13:

Luck? It is all about your choices and the consequences of a number of events taking place at the same time.

Deakon's Law 14:

The more you think and believe in something the better the chance it will happen.

Deakon's Law 15:

Things will happen but never excatly what you believe or imagined it to be.

Deakon's Law 16:

If it looks to easy or a fantastic bargin...look for the fine print.

Deakon's Law 17:

Be wary of those who feel important but dont really do anything significant.

Deakon's Law 18:

Leadership starts from the top, but needs everyone to do there part to make anything to happen.

Deakon's Law 19:

Better to question and reply back than to ignore. It helps understanding one another.

Deakon's Law 20:

Progress is measured on how many shouting for change or things that need to be done.

Deakon's Law 21:

Best incentive to get things to change is wait for a disaster to happen and/or an event that inspires those into action.

Deakon's Law 22:

It is hard to make a right decision when confronted with more than one evil that will lead to the same outcome.

Deakon's Law 23:

Judge a character by his actions not by reputation from others.

Deakon's Law 24:

Equality- Dont just favour one for another, give everyone the same cheek.

Deakon's Law 25:

Repitition is the key to routine habits that are boring, we do it without thinking about it.

Deakon's Law 26:

When you feel anger at someone, it is best to to walk away and scream and let the anger out before continuing...the discussion.

Deakon's Law 27:

The closer you are to achieveing a task always feels the longest to get it finished.

Deakon's Law 28:

Worst case scenarios are often thought up when nothing is happening.

Deakon's Law 29:

Always be prepared. The more effort you put in to it, the more the disappointment if something goes wrong.

Deakon's Law 30:

Speak supported with solid strong action than thin promises and idle threats.

Deakon's Law 31:

Dont stand and lean in doorways either come in or stay out.

Deakon's Law 32:

Think of nothing for peace of mind and sleep.

Deakon's Law 33:

Learn to act and think at same time. Action before you think and thinking before you act leaves room for error of judgment.

Deakon's law 34:

Once you discover a charmer you will always see through what they say.

There are those on central stage who enjoy the limelight. Wanna be's hanging out in the wings, the silent back stagers who do the work and all the ones in the audience who just watch and get entertained...

Somewhere in the background is a tune softly playing every time someone has "Poor Me" syndrome.

Learn from your mistakes or always be the the fool.

Deakon's Law 38:

On the way to success, fame, promotion. Never sit back on your accomplishments and awards until you have no more responsibilities to others.

Deakon's Law 39:

To get commitment on anything that needs to be done, always ask them "WHEN!"

You only realise when you are addicted to something when it is taken away from you temporally.

Simple little pleasures are the best kept secret to happiness.

Deakon's Law 42:

It is always to late when something you take for granted is gone forever.

Deakon's Law 43:

You know when you are totally alone when all you hear back is the echo of your voice.

Take pride in everything you do, it saves you redoing it later if not done properly.

You will never be happy with fiddling around changes, just stick to what you got.
