Mandalore Security wipes out pirate base

Onboard the YT-2400 Another Dream at galactic position (30, -59).

Last night at approximately 20:45 local time on the planet Tollagoth in the Aline system, Mandalore Special Forces moved in under the cover of darkness towards a hidden pirate base located within a cave. These pirates were thought to be the ones who have been carrying out raids deep within the core worlds, as close as Coruscant itself. However, under investigation of the facilities by General Drayer's team it has been determined that they were nothing more than a rogue band, and had no connection with the group known as Eidola.

Mandalore has confirmed for us that all sixty four pirates that were at the base were killed. And fifteen of the twenty four fighters were also destroyed. Infantry boarded one pirate carrack, taking complete control in under twenty minutes.

The operation while not accomplishing the desired goals, is still being counted as a victory by Mandalore Security. General Drayer said at the debriefing "While we didn't capture Teniel Djo, or any of the Eidola rogues, we did remove a group of pirates which were a threat to the safety of the rim worlds." Mandalore security has declined to name its employers, if any.
