Early life
Obbic’rysta’leo or Crystal was born on Csilla in -1 BCGT to a mother and father who both committed to science. She lost her father at a very young age when his research site was attacked during the Five-Year War. Her mother, a military researcher, used lavish parties as a cover to gather information about alien technology among Csilla's growing number of immigrants. This left Crystal to take care of her two younger siblings. At such a party in Year 14, she met her future husband, and she married him when she was 16.
However, their love faded after their daughter was born and found out to be the first child in generations to be born with force sensitivity.
The Chiss Sages petitioned for and were granted the right to take the child, a move which the father consented to but Crystal opposed. However, with her Mother's backing, the baby was taken anyway and lived with the Chiss Sages being studied by them.
Crystal felt betrayed by those she thought loved her. She grew to resent her mother and Ex-Husband, though she understood that it was important for the Chiss Ascendancy to learn all they could about the force. But it left a bitter taste in her mouth making her believe that the force is both a blessing and a curse.
Soon after her daughter was taken by the Chiss Sages. Crystal and her husband end up divorcing. They mutually agree to not contact the other.
She attended a high-end and very expensive University on Csilla to study local politics She was rather curious about the newly established Parliament, However later in her life, Crystal followed the footsteps of her father, and she went into civilian research and served in the reserves of the restored CEDF until an active duty role opened up.
A few years later Crystal was undergoing some tests and learned she is Force Sensitive, which to her was a surprise. She always had a feeling that she might have the force but never fully knew until she received the test results.
One day while Crystal was walking through the city she saw one of the Chiss Sages and a young girl who looked to be around 5 years old. The little girl suddenly ran up to Crystal and hugged her and began calling her mommy. Crystal looks at the Sage who seems shocked by the young girl's action. The Sage tried to pull her away from Crystal saying “Coral, we have to leave,” The girl just held on tighter.
Crystal couldn’t help but be surprised that this girl is her daughter… Before she was taken was named Coral. Crystal leaned down and hugged Coral. “No matter the distance, I will always love you, my beloved child,” Crystal said before Coral was successfully pulled away by the Sage and she did not see her for a while.
New Role And Rank
Crystal joined house Hzebi and worked very hard with the past Patriarch Prad'aga Ron. She helped re-establish the bar and Casino Vocehn as an important location to help both Chiss and non-chiss relax and have some fun. She hired all the employees she made sure that there is a blend of Chiss and non-chiss employees and that all are welcomed into Vocehn.
As Prad'aga Ron moved into his new position as Syndic, it left the role of Patriarch open. As keepers of Histoty House Hzebi held a vote to see who would take the role of the new Patriarch. And to Crystal's surprise, she was the one voted in as the new Patriarch and she has vowed to keep the history of the Ascendancy and keep Vocehn up and running along with building connections with the other houses.
Despite her new role as Patriarch, she tries to have a slightly informal way of interacting with people. She wants to keep good relationships between herself and others, even if they are not members of her house or even if they are not Chiss.
