Port NoWhere
Formed out of the hulk of a abandoned Lictor-class Dungeon Ship, the origins of the deep space colony known as Port Nowhere have been long forgotten. Whether converted to a base by a group of pirates, or colonized by refugees fleeing from some distant conflict, the former prison ship has become a thriving community for those with no where else to go.
Located on the cusp of two massive asteroid fields, colloquially referred to by the locals as “The Boneyard” and “The Heap”, the area has been the site of many conflicts over the years, as different groups vie for control over the mineral rich deposits that are scattered throughout the rocky expanse.
The asteroids are so thick, that some of the oldest members of the colony believe that they are the remains of a planet that was destroyed in some ancient cataclysm, though there is little evidence to support this theory.
Notable Residents
While not originally based out of the colony, it became home to the mercenary group that would become known as the Shadow Hunter Task Force, after they defended the station inhabitants from a raid by a large group of slavers. Having been exiled from their homes in the Azurbani system, many of the Kiffar of Clan Kitade moved their families off their warships and on to the colony, to the mutual benefit of both groups. They were later joined by representatives from other displaced groups, including significant numbers of Chiss and Falleen, leading to a thriving settlement building up around the once derelict space station.
