Generic Reporter Steve: Rune Tao, popular trader, lover and friend, was declared leader of OMC two days ago by outgoing leader Malakai Brooks. At a press conference today to officially take over the company, Mr. Tao had this to say.
(Cut to a random podium in a random building with equally random reporters. )
Rune Tao: Hello once again folks, thanks for coming. I left Endeavor Corporation some 3 months ago because the excitement of the company had worn off, critical employees were starting to leave and my time constraints proved too strict to continue running the business.
Now I am back with Offworld Mining Company in what could be looked at as an improbable series of events. I was sitting at home, playing online poker, financing Twilek's Of The Inner Core calendar shoots when Tycho Celchu gave me a call with an opprotunity.
My long standing friendship with Mr. Celchu and the ability to tackle the hot industry of mining and extraction were enough incentive to draw me to this podium today. With the assistance of Mr. Law, I'm confident that OMC will be among Tenloss', NAO's and my greatest success stories.
On to business, extraction has already begun for OMC and other key raw material sites are currently being scouted at locations around the galaxy. With the unprecedented backing of the behind the scenes operations and the quality product that my companies have always produced, OMC is certainly a major player on the mining scene.
We are currently investigating long term contract opportunities and invite any groups wishing to take care of their raw material needs to contact OMC and myself directly. We also hope to offer a regular delivery service for smaller groups and private individuals that have raw material needs.
