Sol Primera is the Planetary/Station Capital of the Binary Republic of Sol Mechanica. It is here that the Sol Republic houses their main government buildings and facilities.

Approximately 5.2b Solarians & Mechinarians living on Sol Primera as of Y18, it is the most densely populated Mechanical Planet in the Sol Republic.

Government

The Government of Sol Primera:

• The Primera Planetary Commission (Local Authority)

The PPC is in charge of the entire planet of Sol Primera, though they often default to the decision of the Republic due to their high concentration on the planet. The only known sentient who is only bound to the laws of the Commission is the Queen Sol Primus.

• The Binary Republic of Sol Mechanica (Galactic Binary Republic)

The main governmental body of the Entire Sol Republic, they are responsible for everything, from the managing of planets, to the armament and training of soldiers. Lead by a President & guided by the Great Sol Mechanica.

Terminus

The only sector open to non-Primerians, it is the only way in or out of Sol Primera outside of the Heavens which is guarded by multiple fleets of varying capabilities with point-defense systems playing overwatch.

Planetary Ruler

The Planetary Ruler of Sol Primera is the Queen Sol Primus, though she often gives up day-to-day control to the Commission, which in turn gives up control to the Republic. Even though this creates an interesting control situation, it only works due to the Queen's unwillingness to actually lead the planet due to her beliefs in free will of her children and guests to the planet of Sol Primera.

Historically the queen has only intervened in Planetary matters 5 times:

• During the Solarian Techno-Plague. (Resulting in the Death of 98% of the then current Solarian Population)
• During the Solarian Neo-Techno-Plague. (Resulting in the Death of 70% of the then current Solarian Population)
• During the Mechinarian Uprising. (Resulting in the Death of 120m Mechinarians)
• During the attempted Military Coup by outsiders. (Resulting in the Death of 54k inhabitants)
• During the Core Stall Event (Resulting in the Death of 4.5b inhabitants)
