Spartan Destroid #1
Description
Spartan Destroid # 1 is a suit of Clone Blaze armour owned by Robotech industries. They purchased them from the back of a dark and dusty warehouse, where Bane Sendathu discovered them on a trip to buy some vehicles for Robotech Industries. Originally created to act a secure heavily armoured personal transport for clone troops, during the dark days of the clone wars, they are now used for a similar purpose by those people who need the armoured protection they need.
Known Original history
Spartan Destroid #1 or Blaze Armour Unit #11975 A, was constructed at the height of the Clone Wars by the then Republic. As far as anybody can work out this particular unit saw action at the battles of Mygeeto, Felucua and was almost destroyed under separatist assault during the 4th battle of Geonosis. Historical research has turned up the fact that, this particular unit was issued to a clone trooper called Alpha 197m or just Alpha to his squad mates. Alpha had an illustrious career during the clone wars, first a line trooper and then as a Commando. Alpha survived the clone wars and eventually ended up serving as a Storm Trooper Sergent for the Empire. It is thought that the Empire retired these from their armoury around the time they became the Galactic Empire, selling them off at that point.
After the units purchase by Robotech Industries they were used to great effect by the companies employees, most notably during the Hosnian conflict, where it was used to great effect protecting it’s wearer from hostile Imperial fire.
