The Ersatz Purrgil
The Xanadu class Superyacht 'The Ersatz Purrgil' is owned by Bram Dupol and his family and used as a home when Bram is out on long term business trips and family holidays. Once upon a time, it was entirely stock, however, Bram as always took the ship and added his own flair to it. His hand-picked crew of artisan engineers added extra redundant systems, improved the internal systems and the furnishing and fittings. He had the interior carpeted except the engine room, cargo hold and the pool. The walls were clad in the finest exotic woods including some exclusive to his homeworld of Glee Anselm, which Bram had secured on his last fateful visit in Year 21.
In the final quarter of Year 21 Bram took the ship to Baker Customs who Bram engaged to make a few exterior modifications. The Large transparent Hull section behind the cockpit was for the most part removed and replaced with Durasteel, increasing the ship's rigidity and strength. He also had two windows added re-using some of the now removed giant transparent section of the upper hull. To go with this Bram had the ship repainted into a new Red and Gold livery (as everybody knows Red ones go faster!), making the ship stand out from its peers. Around this time Bram also took a month out to supervise the retrofit of a new cockpit/command bridge set up, this set up is all business but required the installation of a new access corridor to the former forward observation room, now redesignated as a meditation suite/kids play area.
Her first voyage out after the refit was a short two day hop back to the Huldamun system where Bram was busy on a major Recycling contract. After that was completed Bram took the ship and his entire family to the Galaxy Festival at Bright Jewel.
