The Galactic Artifact and Souvenir Project (G.A.S.P.)

The Galactic Artifact and Souvenir Project (G.A.S.P.) is an independent organization that has taken up the task of registering and recording many of the artifacts that heave been discovered throughout the galaxy. Suggested by noted collector Belloq Tull, this body is a voluntary organization that maintains lists of registered objects, and settles disputes on the authenticity of objects, based primarily on the date an object was first discovered (ie: its ID number, the earliest being the most likely original).
