The Hapes Consortium celebrates King's birthday

Yesterday was a day of joy, happiness, and celebration in the Hapes cluster as the population of the Hapes Consortium celebrated the birthday of their glorious leader, King James I.
The King started the day early in the morning with a breakfast in a large observation dome onboard the Hapan royal flagship, the Pulsar Battle Cruiser HRS Pride, as the sun was rising above the horizon of the Hapan homeworld. A large number of distinguished and highly decorated military officers were invited to join His Majesty for the breakfast, including Vice Admiral Tyrridon, Colonel Berin and Marshal Amethius. A typical birthday breakfast was served to all present: a glass of newly squeezed Calzo juice, a cup of coffee, Hapan toast with marmalade of Oova berries, two eggs from a Nakatay hawk and a sausage made of meat from a Vergill boar.
Following the breakfast, the King returned to the surface of Hapes where he made a public appearance on the grand balcony of the Hapan Royal Palace. Traffic was closed in the main street of the Hapan capital for hours as a large military parade moved up main street towards the palace.
