The roots of Chiss Parliament can be said to be the Agreement of Civility signed between the Chiss Ascendancy-in-Exile and The Chiss Ascendancy signed on Day 204 of Year 12.
In the period which followed, tensions continued to ebb and flow. Eventually a movement grew that called for increased cooperation, despite the political divide.
