Description

Samux Marus is a veteran of the Galactic civil war, a Brigadier General and Executive Officer of the Resistance Military and he also serves as the Surgeon General of The Resistance and head biochemist responsible for developing the treatments used during the conflicts. A little above average height, Samux stands at about 1.3 meters tall and is capable of jumping about the height of a human teenager. Due to serious bodily injury when he was younger, Samux was forced into choosing a slow painful death where he was expected to live another five-to-ten years at best or to undergo cybernetic surgery to save his life. The Doctor at the time was Zashtayn Marus who Samux later married and adopted her last name as Kushiban typically have one-word names. Samux looks mostly natural at first glance, but closer inspection will detail some cybernetics that replaced his right arm and parts of his chest and right eye. His fur is usually kept well trimmed as a soldier he couldn't afford to have fur issues in the field. He is able to still manipulate his fur and eye to match his mood, personality or situation as many Kushiban can. His Cybernetics are usually a flat black color for operational ease while in the field. Samux is usually seen wearing his military uniform that has been form-fitted for his species, despite wanting a cape it's not practical for Samux to be Bipedal unless the situation dictates. He can run, dodge and maneuver faster on all four limbs. Normally Samux appears as a darker gray fur as his natural choice. He often suffers small bouts of pain due to his cybernetics but it has made him stronger over time.

Assets

Though Samux isn't much of a trader he maintains a comfortable level of wealth. He owns and commands the Acclamator-Class Assault Ship The Inexorable and has it outfitted with much of his collection of rare fighters and support ships.

The Resistance

The Resistance Military

Enlisting in The Resistance in late Year 18, Samux was tired of the abuses he had witnessed by the tyrannical and oppressive Imperial regime. They preached peace but would murder, arrest and torture innocent people. Having already been combat tested due the constant raids by pirates and other scum on his homeworld he had mastered stealth and combat operations quite fast. Joining The Resistance as an Ensign in the Special Operation's group, Samux quickly built a reputation with his command. He was often granted additional duties above his paygrade and continued to prove his capabilities. It wouldn't be long till he had worked his way up to Commander in early Year 19 and later Group Captain where he accepted the position as Resistance Military Executive Officer.

Once he became a member of Command his entire role and responsibilities changed to fit the needs of The Resistance. He often found himself leading a fleet to provide security or to take out an enemy target, he even was responsible for the construction of Resistance worlds. Over his time in service Samux has been awarded multiple ribbons for his contributions to The Resistance. During the restructure in later year 19 or early year 20 he was promoted to Brigadier General and awarded multiple awards for development and progress to the betterment of The Resistance.

Samux commands the Victory-1 Class Star Destroyer RMS Incursion, though its armament and compliment of support ships are classified, the ship was liberated by General Crueya Vandron in a Pre-Resistance operation.
