Born to a Father who was a decorated officer in CorSec, and his Mother who was a successful director of holovids and other visual arts, Jakk was setup by his parents from an early age to become anything that he wanted... Except like his “religious zealot” of a GrandfatherCurrently a member of Ternion Corp and also the Altisian Jedi Order this seems to have not been what the Living Force had in mind for him.  Jakk's father was often at work as he grew up, and though present when he was able, Jakk often ended up traveling with his Mother on her jobsites for 'on location' filming, banquet dinners, award ceremonies, and other such activities.
Jakk Emernet has been many things in his life so far.  Starting out as the son of two relatively well known Corellian parents. ==Early Life on Corellia==

Jakk Horn Emernet was born in Y -9 Day 177 on the planet of Corellia, in the City of Kor Vella of planet grid 9,4 at 18:59:34.  He was born to his father Yaxon Ira Emernet and his mother Lisha Denya Emernet.  As one might recognize, if they are familiar with note worthy Corellians, his father and mother are respectively a decorated CorSec officer and a famous Holovid director and producer.  This influenced his early life greatly.  Through travel Jakk had visited over three dozen planets from Shili to Tatooine by the time he was an adult, and grew to appreciate the many different cultures that he encountered.  He particularly made friends on the planet of Champala as a young boy and even to this day keeps many of those contacts close.  Once an adult however most of his living was done on Corellia, at least for the first few years.  Like his father he joined CorSec, but unlike his father who had been part of the law and order divisions of CorSec, Jakk joined the management division and gained quite the reputation with his peers and those above him.  Though that is not to say he shied away from the more dangerous assignments.  Jakk also trained in the Intelligence Division of CorSec and learned how to handle almost any blaster, most melee weapons, and even hand to hand combat.  Jakk was also awarded a 2nd Degree Blood Stripe for an event that remains classified, however it is known that this event directly lead to Jakk having a prosthetic left leg from just above his knee down.

He was exactly who he was supposed to be, at least according to his parents.  However, comments started to be said from others in CorSec.  Things like "You remind me of your Grandfather." or "Apple doesn't fall far from the tree in your family, just like your Grandpa.".  These comments naturally sparked an interest in Jakk to discover more about his Grandfather, as his parents had always refused to talk about him or even the reason for the estrangement always insisting that it was for his own good to simply forget about his Grandfather.  Through some digging, and help from some of his peers in CorSec Intelligence, Jakk learned that his Grandfather had once fought in the Clone Wars.  He found that his Grandfather had been force sensitive and a member of the Jedi Order of that time, and that once the empire rose to power he had gone into hiding instead of turn to serve the Empire.  Bringing this information to his parents and asking for further information his parents finally, in a private conversation and in hushed tones, told him they had nothing against his Grandfather but simply needed to keep connection with him separated for their families sake under the Galactic Empire's rule in the Corellian System.  They gave him all the information they had on his Grandfather though it wasn't much.  Jakk took what information he had, and left Corellia on his own terms, in search of his Grandfather that by all records was still alive out there somewhere.  It took about a years search, but finally Jakk found him, living on the planet Tamra II in the distant Outer Rim.  His Grandfather instantly recognized Jakk and welcomed him  It was in those following years that Jakk's Grandfather discovered with quiet delight that he, Jakk Emernet, was Force Sensitive as well.  His Grandfather taught him only the basics: how the Living Force connected every living thing, how to use it for assistance in times of distress, even a few skills using Telekinesis and Telepathic abilities.  However, his Grandfather refused to train Jakk beyond these basic skills.  He provided him some training materials, but insisted that "The Living Force has shown me repeatedly that it will be another who teaches you to wield the Living Force to a far greater manner as I once did.  An individual who will be both a mentor and friend to you.".  In the year 21 Jakk's Grandfather passed away of natural causes from old age.  Jakk left Tamra II with what belongings he had and started to make his own way in the galaxy.

These inquiries had not gone unnoticed by others on Corellia though, and Jakk soon found himself wanted for questioning by the local garrison of Imperial troops.  He was assured that they only wanted to talk but Jakk felt like there was something more about their request.  He decided it was time to leave Corellia, or he may never get the chance.
Jakk took what information he had, and left Corellia on his own terms, in search of his Grandfather that by all records was still alive out there somewhere.  Jakk would end up finding a young Coruscanti woman by the name of Lara Tinmin on his travels.  She was driven and had a goal in life, to make a difference in the galaxy for people that couldn't help themselves.  Lara bought a Corona Frigate that was on the local market, and the two worked together to gather a like minded crew.  They set off in Y11 to the Outer Rim of the galaxy and started anti-slaving operations.  They would go on to be directly responsible for freeing over five thousand souls from the institution and even ran a few operations that crippled half a dozen small time slaver groups.  In the beginning of Y14 however they found themselves the victims in an ambush.  They had caught the attention of a larger slavery operation, and though they succeeded in damaging the operation, these slavers called in their allies.  Eidola.  Losing nearly half their own operation in a series of ambushes, and hit and run attacks by the pirates.  They were forced to stop their anti-slaver work once enough of their crew decided they were not willing to continue with the present danger.  Lara sold the frigate they had in order to get Eidola off their case.
In all this time Jakk had still be trying to find his Grandfather.  This became his and Lara's main goal for the next year.  They would end up succeeding as well.  Jakk found his Grandfather on the Tamra II where he had been operating a small vehicle repair garage.  Jakk was instantly welcomed by him and the two got well aquainted.  Over the next two years his Grandfather would help Jakk to discover his sensitivity in the force.  He also helped him develop his basic skills, though his Grandfather refused to train him fully.  He insisted that a vision had shown him Jakk with another Master in the Living Force.  One who would help Jakk learn the depth of the powers it held, while also becoming a good friend.
Early Y16 Jakk would leave Tamra II along with Lara who had tagged along the whole while, and set off to find another way in the galaxy.  Jakk would end up buying his own Corona-frigate, this one he legally commissioned and had built by the New Republic.  Records are unclear, but it may well have been one of the last frigates they produced before their fall.
Jakk frequently stopped in to check on his Grandfather and was present in Y21 when he finally passed away.  He left Jakk his garage which Jakk has to this day, as well as the droids that helped to run the business.  Many other things, artifacts, were also left to Jakk which he keeps privately owned and safe to this day.
The Searching Swordsman
Jakk spent Y16 to Y20 working as a treasure hunter of sorts.  With the appreciation he had developed as a child for other cultures he traveled the galaxy to all sorts of planets, moons, and even a few asteroid fields.  There he would find lost, forgotten, hidden, or at times just plain abandoned ruins or sites full of cultural artifacts.  He often would be hired by local governments, or corporations, to find these artifacts and return them safely to their cultural origins and/or museums. However, there were on occasions things found that Jakk refused to return.  He never kept anything out of a greed, but rather on occasion he would realize those who had hired him were actually asking him to steal things from other cultures.  On two occasions he found that the item in question was part of century or more old cultural dispute and who ever had possession of it would be able to shift political pressures on their planet or people.  Jakk ended up walking away from these moments, if he left the artifacts in their ancient tombs or they lay hidden in his private vault is a mystery that he simply allows to persist.
On occasion Jakk was allowed to keep some relics that he found, depending on the task at hand he often would bring back any item that looked of value.  Some things had no value to the client however, and many of these unclaimed items still remain in Jakk's personal collection to this day.
During this time in his life Jakk became increasingly skilled in using a sword.  In particular he used a sword styled vibroblade that he had found in an ancient Jedi temple in the Outer Rim.  The weapon was in perfect condition function wise even to this day, though it certainly had an outward appearance that showed its years of use.  During this time Jakk started using blasters less and less and mainly used blasters only as a utility tool when something was out of reach or his sword was simply not practical to carry.  This translated well once he obtained his lightsaber.

Naboo and the Handmaiden
Naboo and the Handmaiden
Jakk found himself living on the planet Naboo in late Y21.  There he worked as little more than a common business supervisor for a few different businesses in the year he spent on Naboo.  He amassed a decent personal wealth through his hard work, though the work quickly became drudgery for Jakk who had been shown too much of the galaxy by the Living Force to be content to stay in this one place for long.  However, the locals noticed his abilities were more than common, and not just in the Living Force either, living on Naboo was another old CorSec agent who recognized him and what talents he had shown while in CorSec.  Jakk was soon contacted by the Naboo Royal Court on the night just before he had planned to leave Naboo to find some other opportunitiesJakk's Intelligence training from CorSec was called upon when a member of the queen's handmaidens by the name of Kelci Takan became the target of a very aggressive stalker.  The criminal had even injured a few guards quite badly on two seperate occasions, and they had nearly no idea how to find the man who somehow avoided security cameras and left very little evidence to use as wellJakk was tasked by the Naboo Royal Court to track down the stalker and bring him into custody of the local authorities.  After a few months of working to find the criminal, he succeeded.  It was not by design however, as the criminal had apparently sought him out in an attempt to eliminate his ever increasing attempts to locate the man.  The man, named Corran Covdien, and Jakk had a drawn out fight.  It was durring this fight that Jakk finally witnessed why this man had been able to avoid so many secuirity featuresHe was a Force Sensitive as well, though something in his mind had turned him into something far more aggressive than Jakk had known the force could be. His Grandfather had warned him of those who would use the Living Force for dark purposes, he however had not understood how literal this would be.  However, it seemed that Corran's training was incomplete just as Jakk's was, and the two ended in a draw that night with Corran managing to escape but not uninjured.  Jakk had been able to get his face on a security camera finally as well as collect some DNA from a cut Jakk had given Corran via his vibrobladeCorran was hunted for the next month by Jakk and a few Royal Guards that had been assigned to help him track the criminal down.  Corran's house was raided with no useful information gained, however this action seemed to turn the man desperate.  This time, he attempted to attack Kelci Takan directlyJakk however had been on his heels, as it were, in terms of his investigation.  Jakk arrived at Takan's quarters only moments after the attack had startedTakan, though a handmaiden, was also just that.  Trained in combat in order to act as another layer of protection for the Queen, Takan had been able to delay Corran's assault.  However, his force abilities had almost given him the upper hand when Jakk arrived.  This time, and working with Takan in tandem in a suprisingly unpracticed display of teamwork, Corran was killed.  Jakk was awarded recognition for his work, and though unintended in the beginning the amount of time he had spent interviewing, protecting, and otherwise working with the Handmaiden Kelci Takan lead to a strong friendship between them.  With a highly polished and Royal Guard issue brand new ELG-3A on his hip, and a new N1 Starfighter as well, Jakk finally left Naboo.
Late in Y20 Jakk would take a break from treasure hunting.  He received a call for assistance from an old friend from CorSec who happened to be living on the planet Naboo, and working for the royal family in TheedUpon arrival Jakk learned that the royal family and its workers were facing some sort of repeated nuisance from a manThis man constantly showed up to private functions, was found walking down the hallways for the royal palace, and on a handful of occasions had injured guards when they had tried to apprehend himAll this seamed to be in connection with the Queen, and so after a few failed attempts at finding the man the royal court started reaching out to those that might helpThough discretely was their desire.

Jakk was able to begin his investigation and after only a weeks time had his first run in with the criminal.  Jakk had approached this man slightly foolishly, underestimating his vigor or skillThe confrontation ended in Jakk being injured quite badlyIt ended with him having his left leg amputated from just above the knee down by his own vibroblade which the man, Corran Covdien, also keptA month went by as Jakk recovered, and the Queen was about to search out another investigator when Jakk was able to finally get back on the job.

The Searching Swordsman
Corran had caused quite the trouble, but with continued confrontations Jakk had been able to recognize a pattern.  Jakk learned what the man must truly be after.  Every one of his encounters were with one particular individual present.  One of the Queen's handmaidens named Kelci Takan seamed to be his target, and after repeated interviews with the handmaiden she told of a boy from her childhood who had stalked her, but that she had not seen the boy for many years now.  It was concluded, and then proven by the man's own admission, that he was not infact after the queen, but after this handmaiden in some deluded attempt at possession.  This admission came upon their first encounter since his injury a month ago.  Jakk remembered what his grandfather had taught him and was able to use the force in his confrontation to reclaim his sword and even cause injury, though slight, to Corran.

Jakk would continue to pursue the man after this, and after another months time he was able to raid the man's house, find a secret passage that he had been using to get into the palace, and finally track him down to a small cave system in the hills of Naboo.  There they had a final confrontation, where Jakk learned finally that this man was also trained, though poorly, in the force but was using it for darkness.  Jakk had been warned about the darker sides of the Living Force by his grandfather, and in the end his training proved to be more than Corran could handle in the end.  Jakk was able to bring the man in alive, and eagerly left Naboo once the job was finished.  Though he had a new N1 starfighter and a pair of ELG-3As to show for it.

Jakk spent about a year working as a Freelance after his departure from Naboo.  He worked mainly for Galentro Heavy Works, though he refused to become part of their inner members due to his desire to seek out the force and further training.  During this time he continued to work on his swordmanship, a trait his Grandfather had suggested he improve.  Using a Vibroblade of the correct length, and as light as he could find it, he became quite deadly with the weapon.  He found himself using the weapon on many occasions at this time of his life.  Jakk in his wanderings between jobs for GHW became acquainted with a Lara Tinmin.  She had a life's mission, which was to end slavery in the galaxy.  Now Lara and Jakk both knew that was a very tall order, but they also both believed they could start making a difference.  Starting with a purchase of an unused Corona-Frigate that had been snatched off its shipyard during the fall of the New Republic and somehow ended up in some various private hands before they all decided the thing was not worth the operating costs to keep it crewed, Jakk took ownership of the basically untouched frigate and with Lara as its Commanding Officer found a crew, and started prowling the traffic lanes of well known slavers.  Jakk and his crew made quite a few enemies, and friends.  Jakk never dared to hit the larger, better equipped slave markets operated by larger organizations.  Instead he and his crew, most all of whom were once slaves and volunteered to help Jakk with this mission, focused on smaller operations.  Most of which he and his often titled “Pirates” were able to damage enough to the point of shutting down.  However, there came a moment that seemed as if fate had finally decided this operation was no longer in its favor.  Jakk had gone away to pursue formal training in the force with the Jedi Order under Master Vir Calder, and while he was gone Lara and the crew ran into a trap set by a smaller slaver group, backed by Eidola Pirates.  Lara, Jakk's ship, and his crew made it out but not without losses.  Four squadrons of fighters had become two, and many gunships that had once been part of the operations were no more as well.  Once Jakk was returned from his training he found a demoralized crew, and Lara had become timid in her willingness to keep fighting if they had drawn the attention of Eidola.  She was not willing to risk the crew on suicide missions.  Everything to that point had been operations where Lara, Jakk, and there crew, had been decidedly on the upper hand to avoid such loss.  Anti-slaving operations were put on hold, via an unanimous vote by the crew.  Jakk had been shown a vision during his meditation in the force the night after the vote had passed.  In his vision he had become something from legend and myth, a knight with a sword of indigo fire which he used to protect the defenseless from those who would wield the darkness as a weapon against them.  Jakk set off to discover and find himself some Kyber Crystals to construct his own lightsaber.  While on this misison, a few of the crew had volunteered to come with him though he had insisted that they were not needed, he found it hard to not allow them along as they were all friends of his as were most of his crew.  These particular crew declared they would simply act as security for Jakk in case something happened.  This was a lie however, while meditating on a cliff side on the planet Champala, trying to find any traces of a mystic cave system he had stumbled upon as a child, the crew that had come with him began a mutiny.  Attempting to commander Jakk's PLY 3000, and simply leave him on the planet, Jakk did not even break from his meditation.  He reached out with the force, and the ship was unable to raise more than a meter off the ground.  He also, after a moment, was able to simply turn the repulsor systems offline.  The ship back on the ground rather gently, Jakk confronted his once loyal crew.  They did not have much time for conversation however.  The event had drawn the attention of a large pack of Howlrunners from a nearby Cave.  These creatures attacked Jakk directly, as if drawn to attack him from his display in the force.  Jakk sensed these Howlrunners were not just average Howlrunners as they seemed.  The crew out of a need for survival fought with Jakk against the animals, however their efforts were quite ineffective for these Howlrunners were embued with the force.  Jakk through great effort defended his crew and defeated the Howlrunners after a long intense fight.  By the end of the impromptu battle, Jakk was slightly wounded, and four of his crew had been killed.  Jakk, using the force, healed any remaining injuries of the survivors.  He however was in that moment pulled into a trance in the Living Force.  Later that same night Jakk awoke, his remaining crew were gone, but they had left him safely in his ship.  Clutched in his hand was his kyber crystal, and this was the beginning of Jakk's Lightsaber.  Now many months later, and though his time with the Jedi Order was extremely helpful, it was time for Jakk to find another path.  And so he wanders on, searching continuously to find a cause that needs his blade, or a people that need his help.
The Living Force that Keeps
Personal Life
After Naboo, Jakk sought out further training in the Force.  His encounter had told him he could no longer go without finishing his training.  The Jedi Order welcomed him with open arms, and helped find him a Master in the Force by the name of Vir Calder.  Though he had no way of confirming this Jakk came to accept that Master Calder was the teacher his grandfather had seen in his vision.  Vir has been a patient mentor for Jakk and they have continued to train together even now.

Since the end of his Anti-slaving operations, Jakk uses the Corona-Frigate Mournful Drake as his main living space.  Having converted much of the combat vessel to become more of a luxury yacht without it losing any of its combat capabilitiesThe ship has an interesting history of its own that Jakk is quite proud of even if its days in combat are most likely at an end.  Jakk also commonly uses the Personal Luxury Yacht 3000 Howlrunner's Silence when he needs to move faster, or a smaller ship is needed.  He also has retained ownership of his Grandfather's place on Tamra II, though it has been some time since he went there in person.
Jakk has also started working towards opening his own business in the galaxy currently in the form of StarSage StudioAn art focused group looking to bring all sorts of customized works from paintings to hand crafted silk bed sheets, StarSage Studios is bringing luxury back to the galaxy.

Jakk has been in a few romantic relationships, and is currently in one with Kelci Takan.  They can often be found working together as their bond grows stronger with time.  He still employs Lara Tinmin as the commanding officer of his frigate, and has a few other close friends that also have come under his employment.  Risha Zainab is an old friend from Champala where they first met as children.  He also is commonly seen with: Reine Tamplin, and an old Corellian CorSec friend that acts as his head of security.  Elamas Felidoron a male Caamasi who he was introduced to by Vir Calder, and works for Jakk as a scout. Charlena Urope a Twi'lek woman who works as his frigates lead engineer.
Personal Life
Jakk has always held his lightsaber as precious since it was constructed.  Constructed of a mixture of Orichalc and Copper metals, as well as bearing a leather wrap that was part of his Grandfather's lightsaber, the weapons has three engravings upon its visage.  Near the emitter is the symbol of the Living Force, on the neck that seperates the emitter from the rest of the lightsaber is the inscription "May the Force Keep you" which is a meaningful family phrase passed down from his once Jedi Grandfather as well, and the third engraving is just above the pommel and is a symbol representing the ecliptic dualities that are the Son and Daughter of the Living Force mythology.  The Copper pommel is directly taken from his once very well used vibroblade that was broken during his final fight with Corran Covdien on Naboo.  It is also worth note that his lightsaber has no external switch for activation.  Instead a small internal switch was crated by Jakk during the weapons construction.  This way only a force user can activate the weapon.  When activated the blade glows a deep unmistakable purple.

Joining CorSec as a junior officer, an anti-slaver, a detective, and most recently a seeker of artifacts and The Living Force. Now a part of the rebuilding of the G.A.R. cloning project, Jakk has also found a new group and a new cause. Now the attached Jedi Leadership of the 531st Ranger Battalion he works with the Ternion Corporation and its allies to bring safety and security to the galaxy around them.

Early Life on Corellia

Jakk Horn Emernet was born in Y -9 Day 177 on the planet of Corellia, in the City of Kor Vella on planet grid 9,4 at 18:59:34. He was born to his father Yaxon Ira Emernet and his mother Lisha Denya Emernet. As one might recognize if they are familiar with note worthy Corellians, his father and mother are respectively a decorated CorSec officer and a famous holovid director and producer. This influenced his early life greatly. Through travel with his mother to on site recordings Jakk had visited over three dozen planets from Shili to Tatooine by the time he was an adult, and grew to appreciate the many different cultures that he encountered. He particularly made friends on the planet of Champala as a young boy and even to this day keeps many of those contacts close. Once a young adult however most of his living was done on Corellia, at least for the first few years. Like his father he joined CorSec as a Junior Officer, but unlike his father who had been part of the law and order divisions of CorSec, Jakk joined the Intelligence Division and gained quite the reputation with his peers and those above him. Jakk learned how to handle almost any blaster, most melee weapons, and even hand to hand combat. Skilled both in combat, and in more covert techniques such as finding hidden data to help legally stop criminal organizations. Jakk made quite the impression on his fellow Corellians before he even became an adult.

The Step into Darkness

He was exactly who he was supposed to be, at least according to his parents. However comments started to be said frequently from others. Things like "You remind me of your Grandfather." or "Fruit doesn't fall far from the tree in your family, just like your Grandpa.". These comments naturally sparked an interest in Jakk to discover more about his Grandfather. His parents had always refused to talk about the reason for the estrangement always insisting that it was for his own good to simply forget about his Grandfather. Jakk had always felt that there was a strange lack of hate, but more fear, whenever he brought up the subject.

Late in Y20 Jakk would take a break from treasure hunting. He received a call for assistance from an old friend from CorSec who happened to be living on the planet Naboo, and working for the royal family in Theed. Upon arrival Jakk learned that the royal family and its workers were facing some sort of repeated nuisance from a man. This man constantly showed up to private functions, was found walking down the hallways for the royal palace, and on a handful of occasions had injured guards when they had tried to apprehend him. All this seamed to be in connection with the Queen, and so after a few failed attempts at finding the man the royal court started reaching out to those that might help. Though discretely was their desire.

Jakk was able to begin his investigation and after only a weeks time had his first run in with the criminal. Jakk had approached this man slightly foolishly, underestimating his vigor or skill. The confrontation ended in Jakk being injured quite badly. It ended with him having his left leg amputated from just above the knee down by his own vibroblade which the man, Corran Covdien, also kept. A month went by as Jakk recovered, and the Queen was about to search out another investigator when Jakk was able to finally get back on the job.

The Living Force that Keeps

After Naboo, Jakk sought out further training in the Force. His encounter had told him he could no longer go without finishing his training. The Jedi Order welcomed him with open arms, and helped find him a Master in the Force by the name of Vir Calder. Though he had no way of confirming this Jakk came to accept that Master Calder was the teacher his grandfather had seen in his vision. Vir has been a patient mentor for Jakk and they have continued to train together even now.

Jakk has also started working towards opening his own business in the galaxy currently in the form of StarSage Studio. An art focused group looking to bring all sorts of customized works from paintings to hand crafted silk bed sheets, StarSage Studios is bringing luxury back to the galaxy.
